What is missing from lives that seem full—but are actually hollow at the core? Anne Graham Lotz says the answer is knowing God intimately as Abraham did—and being known by Him—as His friend.
Many people today find that their prayers don't work. And like a broken cell phone, DVD player, or TV remote, they throw prayer out as unnecessary clutter in their busy lives. Anne Graham Lotz has found that while prayer does work, sometimes the prayers don't. So she has turned to the prophet Daniel for help. The Daniel Prayer is born deep within your soul, erupts through your heart, and pours out on your lips, words created by and infused with the spirit of God, quivering with spiritual electricity.
When we call ourselves Christians, we expect that our love for Jesus, our hunger for His presence, our urgent longing to see Him again will be a constant, motivating force in our lives, writes Anne Graham Lotz. Yet sometimes, in the busyness of our days or the duties of our jobs or the familiar habits of our worship or the everyday routine of our homes, the longing becomes complacency, and we sleep through opportunities to be with Him.
What are the secrets of a successful, steadfast, and godly faith? Daniel was honored by God, protected, and trusted. His faith did not waver facing those who were against him, serving new kings in power, or even confronting hungry lions. How can you have that kind of faith? Daniel made 20 intentional, key choices in his life. Those choices took him down a path to a close relationship with God and a model for godly living to all around him.
Everyone has been wounded…hurt…neglected…by others. But as Anne Graham Lotz looks back on her life, the sad truth is that her most painful wounds were inflicted by religious people - God’s people. People she had grown to love and to trust. But people whose words and behavior were inconsistent with what they said they believed. Anne not only understands the wounded, she also understands how easy it is for the wounded to become wounders themselves.
Drawing her characteristically keen insights from the familiar story of Lazarus in the 9th and 11th chapters of the Gospel of John, Anne offers Jesus' reassuring answers to our heartfelt cries for understanding, Why? helps us understand and deal with suffering while guiding us to the ultimate answer - the Savior who shares our grief and our tears.

As a lifelong student of Scripture, Kathie Lee Gifford has always desired a deeper understanding of God's Word and a deeper knowledge of God Himself. But it wasn't until she began studying the biblical texts in their original Hebrew and Greek - along with actually hiking the ancient paths of Israel - that she found the fulfillment of those desires. As you journey through The Rock, The Road, and The Rabbi, you'll also find additional content from Messianic Rabbi Jason Sobel throughout the book.

Scripture is filled with examples of men and women whom God used late in life, often with great impact—Noah, Abraham, Moses, Elizabeth, and Anna, to name a few. They were ordinary men and women who discovered that the latter years of life can be some of the most rewarding and fulfilling. “For them, growing older wasn’t something to be denied or dreaded;” says Billy Graham, “it was to be embraced as part of God’s plan for their lives.” Billy Graham’s life and ministry have been dedicated to the here and now but always with a happy-ever-after in view.
There's no doubt the world is in trouble. We see tragedy in the streets and violence in the news. We hear increasingly divisive political debates that spotlight the deep and bitter divisions in our society. We feel the pain and confusion of a culture that seems to be coming apart at the seams. How do we explain so much chaos? How do we live with such turmoil? And is there any hope for peace in our time? As one of the world's most beloved Bible teachers, Dr. David Jeremiah is the perfect voice to help answer these questions.

Leading evangelist Billy Graham has written an inspiring and thought-provoking work based on his personal quest to understand the most mysterious and difficult aspect of the Trinity. After a discussion with a noted Swiss theologian, Dr. Graham began a study of the Bible to see what is said about the Holy Spirit. As he progressed through his examination, he became concerned by the “misunderstanding and even ignorance in some Christian circles concerning the Third Person of the Trinity.”
Chapter by chapter, Graham leads us on a journey in faith. We learn about God and His purpose for our lives; who Jesus is and what He has done for us. We learn to deal with challenges along the way: temptation; wrong thoughts and motives; habits that destroy our spirit; and what to do when life turns against us.
You have an enemy...and he's dead set on destroying all you hold dear and keeping you from experiencing abundant life in Christ. What's more, his approach to disrupting your life and discrediting your faith isn't general or generic, not a one-size-fits-all. It's specific. Personalized. Targeted. So this audiobook is your chance to strike back. With prayer. With a weapon that really works.
This heart-stirring tale of a young slave girl, torn between her love for a handsome aristocrat and her faith in God, transcends genres with its awe-inspiring power and emotional intensity.
Most of us have had encounters with God time and again, but we often fail to recognize them or allow ourselves to be changed by them. When God meets you, His presence, power, and love should transform your life - forever. Using the compelling biblical accounts of the children of Israel, Ruth, Mary, Martha, and Lazarus, author Priscilla Shirer shows you what happens when you meet God, the obstacles that keep you from changing, and the ways to experience a miraculous transformation in your life.
It's likely you have a threatening giant in your life...an adversary or stronghold that's diminishing your ability to live a full and free life. Frozen in the grip of rejection, fear, anger, comfort, or addiction, we lose sight of the promise God has for our lives. Demoralized and defeated, we settle for far less than his best. God has a better plan for you, a plan for you to live in victory. That's why he has silenced your giant once and for all.
Do you feel that the ability to hear God's voice is for other people and not for you? Is it only for people who lived in biblical times? Not at all! The god who loved you enough to die for you loves you enough to talk to you. And wherever you are in your spiritual walk, God will find a way to speak to you in a way you will understand.
John probably didn't know. But God did. That's why he just gives you Jesus! No one can serve up the Bread of Life like Anne Graham Lotz, who has described herself as simply God's able "waitress." Poignantly, passionately, and with spellbinding insight, she focuses the light of Christ's life on Earth so that its relevance burns true in your life today. Listen to these messages presented at the National Christian Women's Conference in Aukland, New Zealand, and see how the Father gives you Jesus to make...God visible, sin forgivable, and Heaven available...to you!
Beware of sound quality - listen to it first! I didn't - the message behind it is as expected. Just hard to listen to.
