Uplifting and inspiring

Through a series of personal anectdotes, we are invited to remember we are not alone in this world. God's messengers guide and protect us until our earthly mission is over...and perhaps their work has only begun at that point. I found each story to be interesting and positive, and some of the experiences were nothing less than amazing. I have experienced four different encounters that I consider Divine Intervention through angelic assistance, so I was a true believer long ago. But I think even someone who was "undecided" would enjoy the perspective offered in this book. Great writing, pleasant, down to earth narrator. I bought a second copy for a friend who is struggling and she loved it. Enjoy.

Relaxing,calming

This book is very calming. I also enjoyed the various stories. I fell asleep a few times and had to replay, the narrator does a great job reading. The book also will make you a believer if you aren't already that there are indeed Angel's.

Awesomely Amazing

I feel blessed and honored to have this book. The narrator spoke to my soul. Thank you Joan for amazing me again. You are a messenger for God and He is well pleased. So am I. With love and gratitude. Tenia Christian

Kind of a religious in flavor.

What would have made In the Arms of Angels: True Stories of Heavenly Guardians better?

A different narrator and a little less Christian - maybe a few more stories from those that don't have a religious bend

What could Joan Wester Anderson have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

I think a different reader might have helped as well as the answer to the previous question.

Would you be willing to try another one of J. C. Hayes’s performances?

probably not and probably not any more Joan Anderson either.

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

The content of the stories was interesting but the delivery and the heavy church theme weighed on me after a while.

Any additional comments?

Spiritual and Christian can be quite different - differentiating those would be helpful to the reader so we could make a better choice.
