Inspiring

I found this book to be very inspirational. At times it was as if the words were written just for me. If you are in need of a bit of encouragement in your life give this book a listen. Perfect title for this book because God's power can change your life.

Best book ever!

This book changed my life. I learned how to view life in a positive way and I realiced that God REALY loves me, it's not something people just say... You should read this book! (By the way: I'm from Norway so please don't mind my spelling!!)

Not what I thought, but a good read

I expected the book to focus more on how exactly to tie the nine fruits to a plan of change, but it didn't. There is a lot of recycled material from Warren's other books- he needs some fresh examples! But he does have a way of packaging things in a format people can grasp and remember. I would have liked for Rick Warren himself to narrate, but the one selected did a good job and he grew on me as the book went on. Overall, some more good food for thought for baby Christians.

Worth Reading again & again … Will be sharing with family & friends

I read this book/listen to this book, basically in one sitting while traveling on an airplane for the day. Every chapter every topic was worth rewinding, and re-listening to… I also will listen to it again and take thorough Notes. There is so much impactful information & messages to repeat & keep in your heart. Repetition helps me to really meditate & connect the message from my head to my heart.
I have been reading as many of Rick Warren‘s books as I can… What a special gift God has given him… Through his words I feel I have been able to, except the love of our father and Jesus Christ as my very best friend. I feel his presence more than I ever have, and know that he walks with me and he talks with me and I am so grateful to have found a relationship with Christ again. I just turned 60 and realized that God is not finished with me yet. Thank you Rick & Thank you for your narration Jay Charles.

Studying the Fruits of the Spirit

Was surprised to learn this book was about the Fruits of The Spirit. We have been studying that for the past 9 weeks in Church... I had a bit of a pity part towards the end - was driving and got pissed that nothing seems to work out for me.. I relistedned to last chapter and got my answer.. God is Good.. This book is worth the listen..
