Publisher's summary

You do not live here. We are trying to reach your real home. We are trying to reach the place where you are truly welcome. We are trying to reach God. (A Course in Miracles, W-49.4:5)

There is no bigger mystery, nothing more compelling than the desire to know about "life after life". Jon Mundy, the respected longtime teacher and interpreter of A Course in Miracles, now investigates that enigma using insights from the course on mortality, death, and the afterlife. Mundy discusses facing death and learning to let go, the ephemeral nature of the physical body and the eternal reality of the mind, and the reawakening of our Spirit as the one true home. It's an audiobook filled with hope - and a way to alleviate our fear of death.

Authors should stick to writing NOT audio-MONOTONE

This is what appealed to me...but the audio is dreary and un inspiring...hard to listen to without drifting off

Beautiful!

I'm so glad that I didn't listen to the negative reviewers. This is a book for A Course In Miracles students. If you are ready for it, this book will call to you. You will not judge it because you don't like the author's voice. You will not criticize that it wasn't what you thought it should be. Rather, you will relish in ever touching, wise, and beautiful word as your heart fills with emotion. There is so much wisdom in this book that I am sure I will want to listen to it a few times to soak it all up.

If you have been a student of ACIM for a while and have done your work, you will likely be ready for this book. And you will be glad you found it.

Thank you Jon Mundy, for your intimate account of your friendships, as well as your personal experiences you share in this book.
In gratitude.

It's not you, it's me

I think I should have paid more attention to the Course In Miracles part of the title, and less to the afterlife, because clearly, this is a book about Christianity, not so much about the after life. There were many references to PMH Atwater, who is all about the subject of life after life, so I know I wasn't entirely off point in believing that this book was related to that subject matter, but it's entirely my fault for not really noticing the Course In Miracles right in the title. At any rate, between the very VERY soothing tone of the narrator and the subject matter, I had a lot of trouble maintaining an interest, frankly. I DO suspect that's more about me than the quality of writing. It just wasn't my cup of tea, and, again, I blame myself for focusing too much on descriptions and not enough on the title!
