WOW! A must read.
This book was recommended by several friends. And now I know why! As a people pleaser, it has helped open my eyes and create boundaries so I can have healthy relationships. As some of us were raised in broken homes where boundaries were not taught, this is a HUGE help to guide us and teach us about those healthy boundaries not only for ourselves but for those around us. I highly recommend!

Practical advice!
My counselor recommended this book, but I was reluctant to listen. To be frank, I didn’t want the religious instruction. However, the basic human principles rest within us all. Dr. Cloud shares many real world examples and I found his practical advice extremely valuable. His insights on key relationships teach the importance of healthy boundaries in many areas of life. Life Altering!
So glad to have been recommended this book. I have also purchased Boundaries with Kids and the corresponding workbook. It is changing our family interactions, making our kids more responsible and helping them learn strong moral values which we pray they will carry for the rest of their lives. Thankful to the Lord for inspiring these books on boundaries!

This was an excellent book for anyone...
This book teaches you how to establish healthy boundaries but also why it's important for you to develop them. You'll also learn the how and why it's important to respect the boundaries of others and not get offended. It provides real life examples and step by step guides with reasonings.
I recommend this book to everyone. It will help you understand yourself as well as others much better.
Excellent read, I'm reading the Marriage one next!

Wow! I feel like if everyone were to read this book and take it seriously, and make the changes needed, it would make the world function. What a great guide to dealing with the most difficult relationships and also dealing with your own individual biggest problems
