Awakening

I almost didn't get this one since I already had Volume 1 which is quite substantial.
I'm glad I didn't make that mistake, this takes it a step further into a more personal Awakening of Gods personal relationship to us, and how all His attributes engage that in his Pursuit Of Love for us.

Often beautiful and poetic...

as Tozer rhapsodizes about the qualities of the divine. Some of the material here has appeared in other volumes--either that, or Tozer had a tendency to use a lot of the same examples and metaphors repeatedly--but most of it is worth hearing again. The one flaw in Tozer is that sometimes he can fall into circular logic, especially when he appeals to the intellect to understand the limits of the intellect in comprehending the attributes of God.

these 2 volumes have replaced my previous favorite

I really appreciated these two books compared to knowledge of the Holy. more time was spent by tozer explaining each point which allowed for things to sink in much better.

Inspiring!

The words of Tozer reveal the heart of God like few others in my experience. The God that Tozer introduces us to is deeper, richer fuller, with more awesome power and majesty than the God that is commonly preached today. As Tozer states, "We have lost the sense of the holiness of God". (My paraphrase.). Tozer calls us back.

The narration of Michael Kramer is perfect. His gentle, soft-spoken, conversational style makes one feel that he is talking with Tozer himself.

Tozer this Summer

I am enjoying learning all the Attributes of God. The narrator is very good and I can actually visualize what he is saying. These are the best types of narrations, when it makes you use your imagination.

Great discussion of the attributes of God.

Tozer always presents profound insight in straightforward and accessible ways. Volumes one and two are well worth hearing.

A great 2nd volume

Sometimes second volumes are just simply not as good. That is not true of this. Excellent to learn even more about the attributes of God. The narrator is also excellent.
