Gives thoughtful technique!

The book does not guarantee this is a hard science, however inclines more to the way that soothsaying is a thoughtful technique for becoming familiar with yourself as well as other people. Encompassed by fantasy and history, soothsaying is a captivating theme and Alexander King works superbly of keeping it fun and intriguing.

It stimulates my own authenticity and empowerment—and I feel it unlocks some form of gnosis which is soothing and healing to my soul. This was really good!!

I really enjoyed this book. I have listened to it a number of times now and it is so full of stories and info I'm sure I will listen to it many more times. The author is clearly passionate about the topic and is a wonderful story teller. For anyone interested in archetypes or astrology I would highly recommend.

Excellent book for beginners!

I loved everything about this book. it was packed with information. it is the kind of book that one could listen to several times and hear new information each time. This author was the perfect person to provide me with an in depth introduction to the planets, houses and sun signs. I loved the short meditations at the end of each chapter.

I'm an astrology bug! I can honestly say that I learned a great deal. Of course, there is more...PLENTY more. But, for the newbie, this can be a great start. This is a great book for beginners. Love the clear ,concise explanations. This one is going to take me a while to chew through! Very satisfied with this purchase already.

Learning something new every time. Deep, informative, intuitive. One little thing would be better if the ideas presented would have a breathing space between them, to absorb before moving to next idea.

It even provides you with the tools necessary to cast your own, personalized chart. An excellent guide to Astrology for beginners, one that covers all the basics-what astrology is, how it works, and, more importantly, provides a deep understanding of the spiritual roots of the religion tied directly to mother earth. It also does have some great references that I find very useful. This is a very unique and the actions make sense symbolically. Everyone recommends this book as a perfect beginner's book for Astrology.
