This edition of A Course in Miracles is referred to as the “Original Edition“ and is the Course as it was completed in 1972. This was before there were significant edits in 1975. This edition was discovered in 1999 and was first published by Course in Miracles Society in 2006.

Taken from the original manuscript for the Course, the only editing that has been done to this great spiritual classic has been to correct occasional typographic and spelling errors and to render capitalization and punctuation consistent.

The volume that you will be listening to here is the Text, which is the first of the three-volume set: Text, Workbook, and Manual for Teachers. These volumes were scribed by Helen Schucman with the help of William Thetford, as she listened to an inner voice that identified Itself as Jesus.

The narrator Martin Weber, [maz], is a longtime friend and member of CIMS Europe, a musician, and, of course, a student of A Course in Miracles. Maz sits with the material in meditation before he begins his recording and then adds music that he has composed for a perfect accompaniment.

If there was ever a manual for life this would be it. Not a book to be read in one go.

Now I have a better understanding of god’s blessings and my divine connection to my divine father, and it all starts with choosing to change ones thoughts of love ❤️ from fear...thank you for opening the door to the present moment..🙏💕

Epic Journey worth the time.

If you are considering reading, you should. It will take some dedications to listen to the entire text, but it is worth the read first to last word. I was very impressed the narration was consistent through the entire text. The last sentence completed with the same enthusiasm as the first. Well done and thank you.

Transforming

What a journey... Recommended if you are in need of deep healing. It's free. It works. Just do it and see. Definitely going to read this again, and again... Next up, the workbook.

This is a blessing or one could say a miracle, but honestly, there are no words to describe it. If you can listen without a goal in mind or opinion I highly recommend 😁

The clearest Path I’ve found to internal/eternal freedom!! The path to Truth is instilled in every living being... we can overcome our fears and poor choices by switching our guide from ourselves to wholeness!! This book is a great guide how!

Amazing Wisdom

Soothing and slow-paced narration with music makes it very enjoyable. The content is worth listening again and again and again

Poor pronunciation, Hispanic (?) accent, distracting music background

If you want to listen to this book, I suggest you follow along with the written version so that you can make sense out of his poor pronunciation. I am a person distracted by music, it is hard for me to follow this book because the music in the background is pulling my attention away from the words. The recording also needs to be “normalized”, because it is extremely loud at the beginning of chapters, painfully so, when the chapter title is announced. The sample also appear to be clearer than the reality of the book itself. I’d like to continue with us, I’ve only made it to chapter 6, but the narrator is just a poor choice for this book. Granted it’s better than a machine voice, but with the lack of correct pronunciation, It might as well be a machine voice

Great book

Intense, not for the faint of heart! There are a lot of lessons and insights within the book!
