Publisher's summary

If you're considering this book, you were meant to know of these profound energy bundles that can be called upon in times of trouble for yourself and others, including your pets. It's critical to ask for help - but what's repeatedly reminded by the spirit world is the importance of asking the right person the right thing. If you ask Grandma Cop for help with astrophysics, be prepared to get Grandma Cop's advice. Your energetic constitution is on the brink of becoming a formidable tool for you in ways unavailable before at any point in human history. The Galactic Alignment shall enhance your inbuilt magnet so your thoughts are of primary importance at this time. We are about to enter into a potent magnetic field that responds faster, more intensely, and more acutely to our thoughts. It is of utmost importance that you stop, sit, and think about what it is you want to do for yourself and those around you.

Critic reviews

" A Compendium of Souls: Spirit Helpers to Support You in Your Life is a 242 page compendium of metaphysical insights, observations, commentaries, considerations, explanations, and discourses that students of metaphysical studies will find both thoughtful and thought-provoking. The 32 chapters compromising A Compendium of Souls ranges from various Hellenic, Roman, and Egyptian deities and philosophers, pagan mythic and magical figures, to Christian Saints and American pop culture icons. Informed and informative, A Compendium of Souls is unique and highly recommended for personal, academic, and community library metaphysical studies reference collections and supplemental reading lists. Also strongly recommended reading for students of metaphysical studies is author Angel Cusick's earlier work: The Psychology of the Soul." ( The Midwest Book Review)

Want access to this book all the time!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would recommend this audiobook to all of my friends, in fact, I don't want my friends to be without it! Not only that, this book has become like a trusted friend, I have to admit, I don't like to face difficult situations without it anymore. It has become a great and powerful tool in my life.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Each chapter introduces you to a different spirit helper, each helper is a useful tool. Who my favorite is, depends on what I am dealing with at the moment. It's too hard to pick a favorite when you become intimate with each one, it's like asking you which child is your favorite. What I do know is, the more help I ask for, the more help I receive; that's powerful.

Which character – as performed by Veronica Leckie – was your favorite?

Veronica Leckie is a good mouthpiece for the book. A Compendium of Souls has a breezy feel, yet it is crammed with potent information. Veronica delivers those contrasts well.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There was not a particular moment that moved me while reading the booking however, my light bulb moment came when I realized I could receive help when I asked for it. That's profound. Even if I did not ask for higher, and what I considered noble things (although I do try to do that to!), I received help. I invoked Aphrodite to help me lose 30 pounds, easily and healthfully. I swear, my appetite halved the next day and has continued to do so. That is pretty much a miracle. It's not like I don't have to eat right and exercise, it's just that the book has made my life a easier. That's worth a lot.

Dream team of helpers is an understatement! LOVE

I have this book as well and use it all the time- I go back to it over and over to find out which helper is going to get me what I want and the help I need the quickest! Now being able to listen to it while I work on my computer...it's awesome! I am constantly like, "oh, wait, I need to ask him or her for help with this or that!" Angel tells us to ask for help, but she also tells us which power-houses in the spirit world are going to kick butt for us! Thank you Angel!

It's Not What You Know It's Who You Know

My title might sound a little glib but it is intended to make a point that until I listened to the words of this really amazing author I didn't know. The book is a great guide to getting in touch with the right spirits or angels if you prefer when you are in need of help.

I felt like Author Angel Cusick knew more than her share of stuff but she broke it down for the common person who does ot come into this as well versed a fighting chance of getting it because if you don't get it what use is the information.

I also enjoyed the Narrators voice she did not try to be spiritual or some ridiculous imitation there of her process. Reminded me of the author of Love Letters who wrote to the writers read the words as I have written and all will be well.

There is no need to gussy this book up with drama and intrigue the subject matter alone will do that so kudos to narrator.

The feeling I got was that the author truly believes in the work she does and knows from first hand experience the difference it can make, I'm interested to explore this concept more and probably would not have been if Author Cusick had not handled her B I Z the way she did.

Great book and I got all my laundry done in the process my favorite part of the audio book.

Wow - eye-opening!

Would you listen to A Compendium of Souls again? Why?

Yes - a Compendium of Souls is very rich with information. I will listen again and again to ensure I get what I need. Angel Cusick gives the reader so much to think about, and appreciate.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Compendium of Souls?

Thinking about what I want for my self and my loved ones - then understanding there are different spirits to support me. These spirits/souls feel our love. Profound.

What about Veronica Leckie’s performance did you like?

Well read - pleasing voice.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I just love the fact that Angel includes our pets in her guidance. I'm of the belief that "all God's creatures, great and small" have souls. I really love how Angel addresses this in her book.

Any additional comments?

Angel has such a wonderful way with her words - they pull you right in to her stories, anecdotes, experiences, suggestions. They offer such a beautiful hope.

Beautifully written and narrated!

Where does A Compendium of Souls rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is a very helpful book. I haven't listened to other self help or spiritual books, but I'd guess because of how easy it is to listen to, and then apply the principles to your life, it would rate very highly.

What other book might you compare A Compendium of Souls to and why?

I'm not sure I'd compare this to any other book I've read. It's very practical and easy to use.

What about Veronica Leckie’s performance did you like?

She has a very soothing voice.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The principles in this book worked really well for me.

Any additional comments?

I loved the idea and practice of evoking a spirit guide / energy to help me through tough things. I followed the directions from the abundentia chapter, and ended up getting the job I was applying for, AND a bigger salary than I asked for.

Enchanting

I love the word "enchanting", describes a subject in wonder, beauty , curiosity, and the desire of wanting more. I would describe each chapter each character as enchanting to the point that I did not want to forget one moment of my journey. I will keep this one close by just to pop in from time to time.

A perfect accompaniement to the Kindle or hardcopy

If you could sum up A Compendium of Souls in three words, what would they be?

An absolute must.

What other book might you compare A Compendium of Souls to and why?

Angel Cusick's other book, 'The Psychology of The Soul' delves deeply into the spirit realm and Angel's personal psychic journey from childhood until the present day - and 'A Compendium of Souls' is a natural companion book.

Armed with both books, the reader has a very powerful armament against life's many challenges and dark moments of confusion.

Have you listened to any of Veronica Leckie’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I haven't but her reading style and delivery is very soothing.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Neither of those but it presented me with many 'Ah-ha' moments.

Any additional comments?

I'd advise anyone who sincerely wishes to connect with the spirit world and ask for guidance, to buy this book.
