Publisher's Summary

The one she really wants is out of reach.

The one he really needs is already taken.

Dizzy Lowell, rhythm man for the rising rock band Tempest, is a wizard on the guitar and a wonder with women. But the hookup specialist hides his emotional scars beneath his suave exterior. He never lets anyone truly touch him.

April Reynolds, the confident bartender of the Diamond Mine, knows her way around a cocktail, but Dizzy has her all mixed up. She knows what's safe. She's tired of settling, though. It would be so easy to fall under his spell.

Except for that ring around her finger.

Two searching souls separated by a thin metal band.

Some dreams are dangerous.

Some secrets shouldn't be shared.

Sometimes what we wish for most can never be.

Rollercoaster Of A Read.

Where does Relentless Rhythm rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is my absolute favorite so far! My emotions were all over the place with this one. Listening to the past and what occurred was heart stopping to me.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I gotta say, Diz widled his way into my heart. In spite of all the crap the universe put him through, he became strong enough to drag himself out and up.

Have you listened to any of Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

As always they are remarkably talented.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The heartbreak for April's situation and what she had been through as well as the heartbreaking revelations from Diz about his childhood.

Any additional comments?

I'm ecstatic that War is friends again with the band. Some serious healing was happening there.

Best in the Series!!!

Loved the story of April and Dizzy. Betrayal, friendship, family, and love. There are some dark moments in the story ... but in the end the HEA comes together! I enjoyed the listen. Enjoyed the relationship. I wouldn't change a thing!

Another heartfelt emotional journey

I was new to Michelle Mankin when I started in on this series and each book is more interesting than the last. I appreciate hearing about the other band members and how they are doing. Dizzy and April’s story is heart wrenching and showcases how strong a person can be when needed. We all hope to find our person who is always there for us and Dizzy and April are ‘that’ person for one another. I’m so happy when I get to listen to Kai and Wen together, there chemistry while doing any audiobook just seems to bring the characters full of life. Always so pleasurable to hear their own special brand of dual narration. Now onto the next book 😍

Another Great Read by Michelle Mankin

Relentless Rhythm was a great read by Michelle Mankin. This is book four in the Tempest series and follows Dizzy and April. Dizzy is Tempest's rhythm man who hides his scars. April is a strong bartender who has a big secret. Her marriage isn't as good as it seems to everyone else. But there is something about Dizzy that mixes her up and pulls her in. I absolutely loved reading Dizzy and April's story.

Dizzy and April

Well Dizzy and April are not an easy couple. How can you fight such chemistry and why would you want to. Oh yeah the obstacles leave you no choice. This story has some great turmoil and emotion but it also has a great story connection to the rest of the band. I loved it Michelle! Great narration by Kai and Wen as always. Extra props to Kai on this for her emotional work.

DEEP & STRONG GOING

Oh Wow here it's Dizzy Lowell & April's turn to tell their story.
Though we heard the start of his & Lace's lives in Southside. And we've seen that he can't keep his eyes off Barmaid April.
We do start off slowly their connections, but it's NOT until things heat up & open up between them, where Dizzy sees that April is an abusee by her domineering older husband James whom we slightly met in Captivating Bridge & we learn so much more about him towards the end of the book.
Though April has more nastiness by the man whose meant to care for her.
Ups & Downs
