Publisher's summary

The circus is full of monsters.

When a brutal threat takes over Vagabond Circus, everyone seeks refuge away from the big top. Finley knows he has to protect the circus he’s grown to love - and its people.

But to do that he’ll have to further scar his soul.

Jack is relentless to take back what was stolen from him, but in the process he becomes someone he never expected. And this acrobat, who once stole the hearts of millions, accidentally steals a heart he didn’t expect.

It’s Titus who is most changed by the events at Vagabond Circus. He’s always been the fearful coward, but with a new threat bearing down on his best friend’s circus he knows he has to invent the courage to become a new man. Zuma watches from the sidelines as the people she loves grow in an effort to save one of the most important ventures in the world.

Deals will be made, futures tampered with, and everyone’s hearts broken.

But the question that will keep the troupe of this circus going is precisely the same one that will plague listeners.

Can Dr. Dave Raydon’s circus be saved? And if it can’t, then is everything around it doomed?

Great ending , heartfelt

This is the twenty-first book I’ve read/listened to by this author and I would listen to anything she writes.
The Dream Traveler books are all so unique and well written. This is a good end to this series. It does not feel forced and is not a quick solution. This has been a well thought out story.

This is the third book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Steve Barnes ) and I would listen to another. His voice is breathy which adds to the suspense. Sometimes it didn’t seem appropriate, but for the most part, it works. His male and female character voices are done equally well.

There are no explicit sex scenes, excessive violence or swearing.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Released: Vagabond Circus, Book Three was another great read by Sarah Noffke. Dr. Dave Raydon's circus is taken over by a brutal threat and causes everyone to seek refuge from the big top. Finley will do whatever he can to protect everyone at the circus. Jack finds himself trying to take back what was stolen from him. Zuma stays on the sidelines while trying to save the circus. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by Sarah Noffke.

Brilliant, Breath Taking Ending to the Series

A magical, suspenseful, brutal and yet beautiful end to the Vagabond Circus series. This book takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, it breaks your heart, puts it back together and then cracks it again at the end. It is both sad and joyful at the same time. In this book, Charles Knight has taken charge of the circus, and terror and darkness has replaced the light and love Dave Raydon spread. The circus members struggle to come to terms with their new reality and to see if they, and the circus, can survive the harsh dictatorship of Knight.
The cruel destructiveness and warped manipulation that Knight rains down on the circus is devastating in how quickly it starts to destroy the beauty that was Dave Raydon's creation. Your heart breaks for the losses and the evil that the characters have to endure, but despite there being times when the tension in this story is so tight that you can barely breath, there are also parts that make your soul soar. This story has losses, tragedy, cruelty and drama but that is well balanced by the perseverance, strength, loyalty, friendship and love present in the story too. As the plot thickens, the tension builds to a crescendo, and mysteries unfold. It is mesmerizing, emotion-filled and suspenseful.
The narration captures the feel of the book, his eclectic voice suits the circus to a tee. I especially loved Steve Barnes' interpretation of Knight, his voice puts an image of him in your mind that fits this evil, manipulative character well.
It is an expertly written story with great narration. This book draws you in and keeps you captive to the end. You are consumed by the characters, they make you feel hope, despair, love, frustration and hate. It is spellbinding and tension filled, an amazing story with a beauty all its own. This is a truly magnificent end to a spectacular series.
