Publisher's summary

Their love nearly destroyed both of them. Can they find their way back to each other?

Beth:

Can you love and hate the same person?

I fell in love too fast, too young. I made decisions I thought would protect the ones I love. Now I'm hated for them. Skull is the love of my life. But our life was wrapped up in lies. We were captured by them, and left with nothing when they exploded. How much can a heart take before it breaks and just doesn't care anymore?

Skull:

Everything Beth and I had was a lie. I claimed her, but she left me broken. Letting her back in would be a mistake. Fool me once...but never again. Never. I won't allow myself to be weak again. A man can only take so much. I'm done...or maybe not....

Conclusion of Devil's Blaze Trilogy. Breathe easy, there's a HEA in there for Skull and Beth and you even catch up with Torch and Katie.

Finally!

Beth and Skull’s story takes 3 books to get the HEA I’ve been waiting for. Although both have changed through this journey, they still have the undeniable attraction. The writing is good and the secondary characters stay true and active in the plot. For that, I might continue to book 4.

it was good but the voices were a bit annoying.

I liked the story but some do not was a little frustrating and annoying and I didn't care much for the accents.

My Ears are Bleeding😱

Who thought it was a good idea to give Beth a really stupid southern accent?? Actually the narrators voice is really not bad, but the stupid accent ruined it. Oh yeah her twin did not have an accent🤷‍♀️?!?!
Overall I enjoyed the series but it really was hard to finish. I had to get the print version.
So happy the next in the series, Beast), has new narrators!!

Finally, Beth and Skull come full circle

I am relieved to finally get to the conclusion of their story. I am afraid that I must admit that the way that this story was spread through so many books, affected the impact of the tale, for me. The story was too choppy, the angst lasted too long and the way it was all payed out, frustrated me. However, I fell in love with the characters in book one and I had to stick it out to get to the HEA. That being said, I doubt I would ever listen to their story, in it’s entirety, ever again; maybe only the beginning and the ending. Perhaps there are other listeners that really enjoy the slow build and the type of angst this story contains; it’s just not my thing.

Horrible female narrator!

Seriously, the country accent was so hurtful my ears bled for the entire book! I wouldn't spend the money on this. Yes you probably want the ending to Skull and Beth's story but trust me, Morgan Tyler's country accent will ruin it! Wish I could get my money back. (Leo was good, wish he'd read the whole book.)
