hurry up with book 3
Great introduction of new characters. Looking forward to the future development. Is Rez going to be king of more than one land? Will his friends reject him? This has a great ending and a great cliffhanger as well.

The second half of the first book...
This book was the second half of what the first book should have been. The story was more developed...like the second half of a book should have done. It ends on a cliffhanger, but feels complete at least. Nick Podehl's performance was amazing and I will be looking forward to book 3. Hopefully we're not getting book 3 part 1.

ugh
can't believe I consumed this book that fast. now I have to wait till [at least] December for the next one. I tried to space it out and savour it, but the story was just too good.

I don't ever read fantasy... like ever but started this on the recommendation of my brother-in-law. I have not been able to stop listening! My husband and son have also started listening to it with me. So good!

Good story, great story.
Really enjoyed the story however the author has this habit of adding on to a sentence almost as if the teacher told him he needed to increase the word count versus adding content. Book 2 has less of this however it did wear on me a bit in book 1.

Great story
This book and the previous one will definitely catch your attention and keep it. It is well written, in my opinion and the story well executed. The only real fault I find in this series is the perfection of the main character, it seems quite unrealistic, regardless of all the training he has had. I am actually expecting more explaining of why he is so flawless to be revealed in the last book, as in, more spells on him and such. Also, what's with ALL women being madly in love with him? It's got to be a spell! I'm hoping these things are ironed out, but either way I recommend and enjoy the books. Keep up the good work, Kel Kade.

i have read most of the best. You cant beat it.
Everything you may want in this genre is there. I, along with many others simply cant wait for book three. To Kel Kade, please dont stop this saga! Its nothing less than Awesome!!
