  • Too much success too young - William Friedkin is warned by legendary auteur Orson Welles. Friedkin’s production company passes on a little movie called Star Wars so he can make his passion project which is eclipsed by its shadow. The film industry turns its back on him, but his love story teaches him a valuable lesson. Meanwhile, Jason Miller dies, William Peter Blatty’s son speaks to him after death, and Linda Blair battles obstacles to save the lives of sheltered dogs. This, as the demon comes home to Iraq, and we answer the question: Whatever happened to the haunted boy? Excellent binge listen

It’s difficult to find a good podcast that features an intriguing story perfectly narrated and so well told. I hated for it to end. I saw the movie’s first run and thought it was very good considering how easy it would have been for it to derail into campy nonsense. I knew some of the stuff that plagued the making of the film and the sad outcomes of some of the actors but not everything presented in this series. Well done. I hope this writer produces more content.

My only criticism is the final ending. Just a bit gratuitous IMO.

one of the best produced productions.

Too disturbing to call it enjoyable, but you won't want to stop! ( ridiculous that more words AR needed to complete a review!)
