Publisher's Summary

New York Times best-selling author RaeAnne Thayne brings you back to Haven Point - a place made for second chances.

McKenzie Shaw would do anything for her hometown of Haven Point. It may be small, but it's never let her down...unlike gorgeous, infuriating Ben Kilpatrick. He was her childhood hero until he closed his family's factory, leaving the town's economy in shambles. Now his tech firm is considering opening a local facility. For Haven Point's sake, McKenzie has to grit her teeth and play nice.

What could a town filled with painful memories ever offer Ben? Yet seeing the town through the eyes of McKenzie - its fiery young mayor - he suddenly has his answer. If only he can resolve the animosity crackling between them, Ben may have found the place where he can build ties and find healing...a place where love arrives when it's least expected.

very poor narrator.

The stories are wonderful but when the narrator is vocally disturbing the story is altered. Books narrated by V Johansson are well read and compliments the writer and the stories

Redemption Bay

A heart warming story about a town, the people who lived there and two people who fell in love with each other as they discovered their previously inaccessible caring and kindness in their hearts. The setting of this tale in nature enhanced the story line.

Sweet story

I enjoyed this sweet love story and the banter between the characters. A previous review complained about references to the mountains but I’m totally a nature girl and love the mountains so that didn’t bug me at all. I liked the complexity of the characters and unraveling pieces of their history throughout the book.

Great story

I really enjoyed the book. Would have given 5 stars but even tho the narrator does a good job of narration and would be good for other books, not for this one. The voice just did not fit the age of the main character. Made the character sound older and frumpy

Redemption mountains

I would have enjoyed this book a lot more if she wouldn't have felt the need to mention the Redemption mountains about what seemed every 20 minutes. I get that she thinks the mountains range is gorgeous but comparing everything to them was wearing.

Insipid, predictable and boring story. The books lack of excitement or novelty made it difficult to listen to. If I wasn’t out of books I would have stopped after the first chapter.
