Solid Start, looking forward to the rest
I am a fan of the drinker on YouTube so I gave this a shot. Definitely recommend. I have loved early Clancy, Ludlum, Child, and now JL Bourne and Konkoly and this is fairly good on action but really great on character dev and plot continuity, pacing and buildup with payoffs.
Going to get the rest of the series as I get credits to spend. (Only thing that was odd was that a marine having gone to west point -drakes buddy Franklin-instead of just marine ocs or Annapolis.

A bit cliché but good story telling
Good overall. Anya is definitely a highlight. A capable female character that is not preachy or pushing an agenda but made into a capable but flawed hero is something rare in story telling right now. The overall “cia corruption” bit was a bit over the top and played out but fine overall. B+\A- work

Excellent storytelling
This is what I would call a good old fashioned action thriller. It never goes off the rails or attempts to subvert expectations in unwanted ways. What makes it a great story are deep, complex characters written with skillful words. I enjoyed the narrator's style, too. He has a good voice and uses his inflection to give each character their own voice. I highly recommend it and plan to get more from Will Jordan.

Awesome
Neat characters that are powerful, flawed and three dimensional with well rounded personalities. A solid story that doesn't leave a bunch of plot threads flapping in the wind.
