Publisher's Summary

In a town where the corrupt are protected, a bereaved mother seeks retribution for an arsonist’s deadly crimes. Only Nameless can help ease the burden of her grief - and satisfy her rage - in part four of this thrilling series.

After a suspicious house fire, Regina Belmont lost her two children, was left disfigured, and was abandoned by her gutless husband. Brokenhearted and bullied into silence by corrupt officials, Regina’s only recourse for truth and justice is Nameless. There’s something about this case that’s breaking Nameless’s heart as well. But can he bear to remember why?

From number one New York Times best-selling author Dean Koontz comes Red Rain, part of Nameless, a riveting collection of short stories about a vigilante nomad, stripped of his memories and commissioned to kill. Follow him in each story, which can be listened to in a single sitting.

Going strong

This one is a nice addition. Same theme, with a bit more backstory hinted at... or is it backstory? We don't really know yet. But I'm looking forward to finding out.

Worth while.

I have enjoyed listening to several of his books, and will select more. I'm trying to go in order of the noname series.

Entertaining as always!

This was an interesting story, well performed. It's written in Koontz's signature poetic-prose and stimulates the philosophical question as to the validity of vigilante justice.

Back on track

Another good continuation of the Dean Koontz series starring a mystery man referred to as Nameless. I have enjoyed all but one so far for the quick reading on Goodreads and ability to switch to Audio when my hands are tied. I am fortunate I don't pay for these as they are short. That may change my perception as the charges would add up quickly! Other than that I do enjoy them and this new character. 👍

The author has written a brilliant novel!

The author has written another great novel, full of intrigue and suspense! The narration is superb, bringing the characters to life! These are rather short stories though about 1 hours reading time each.

Must Listen...

I was one of those people, teenager, adult...who always was reading a book. Lunch time, walking home, break at work...never without a 'fantasy world to go to'. I was someone who needed to escape and find a world where new and exciting things happened. Mostly the scarry books...Lol. Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Robert McCammon... The real world was sad, boring, hurtful, and painful for me...so I escaped into the imagination when I read books. But, I stopped reading when I lost my last important job...the recession, 2009 for me. Lost so many things. Weird, I never picked up another book. Ugh. I know, TMI.
Today, I can not focus on the pages...yes, I wear glasses and I am over 55...Lol..
Okay, getting to the point, I finally tried Audible...and wow! I wish I would have joined sooner. I love to listen to the books I would have normally read. I love it...I am so glad I finally subscribed. I can do my jewelry making, computer programs and pay my bills while listening. I also have an Alexa Auto and listen to my books in my car!! I love you guys!! Lol Thank you!!
