A Line Was Drawn. Then It Was Erased.
When Russia detonates a second tactical nuclear weapon near the Ukrainian border, the world holds its breath. For President Will Garner, the time for diplomacy is over. The Budapest Memorandum is void. The West must act—or be erased from history.
As NATO activates a continent-wide air defense network known as Gold Dome, the balance of deterrence shifts. Hypersonic weapons. AI-guided interceptors. Autonomous drones hunting shadows. In this world, war isn’t just waged—it’s anticipated.
Below the surface, the USS Colorado glides through the Black Sea, tracking a hostile Russian submarine moments from launching a full nuclear payload. What happens next changes everything.
A coup in Moscow. A rearmed Ukraine. A last breath before total war.
From the ruins of Mariupol to the command centers of Langley, from Beijing’s inner sanctums to a protest-filled Red Square, Red Line tells the story of a world that stepped to the brink—and the leaders, soldiers, and systems that pulled it back.
Written with chilling realism by Thornton D. Barnes—CIA veteran, Area 51 insider, and bestselling author of Nuclear Winter—Red Line is a pulse-pounding geopolitical thriller about the threshold of total war, and what lies on the other side.
Fans of Tom Clancy, Mark Greaney, and Brad Thor will be riveted by this near-future epic of nuclear brinkmanship, artificial intelligence, and raw human resolve.

The story was good, but I kept losing focus because the narrator was so flat. The female voice had no infliction and mispronounced a lot of places and things. I would not recommend this book to anyone, unless they re-recorded it with a human being.

The Narration was Awful!
