The IRS agent was a pit-bull of an investigator and when county officials started turning up dead, he found himself in more of an investigation than just picking off errant taxpayers. There was a definite conspiracy involved in the deaths, but the county officials were also involved in criminal activity surrounding a brothel named The Raven’s Nest. A madman was out to clean up the county, and he didn’t care how many had to die to accomplish that.
