Steamy Action

I love this series and all those connected to it. To bring them all together was Awesome. if you're into romance action and gentlemen hunks this is the series for you.
The narrator makes you fall in love.

Takes time to build story

SL takes her time on this one and for me I loved nearly every minute of it. I grew to love these characters because so much was put into their development. Hold on to your seat in the last third of the book because it takes off full speed to the Series conclusion.

Would not have missed it!!

A bit of a let down from the rest of the series but I love this author and the stories she weaves for us...She tied everything up for us and I love the surprise end of the Cobra. Just didn't feel Loretta the lead female had the zeal of the other ladies in the stories. Was worth the price and will listen to it again.

Stephanie Laurens has a great way of weaving excitement, trouble, perilous adventures. I experience everything, ups, downs, turns like a thrilling roller coaster ride the hero and heroine travel. Simon Prebble is a fantastic narrator bringing all the characters to life and making me feel all the emotions each experiences. By far he is the best narrator and the few books of Stephanie Laurens he does not narrate lack that special luster. This is the fourth book in the Black Cobra series and is best appreciated by reading these four books in order. I will keep relistening to all Stephanie Laurens' books in order as I pick up something new each time.

scintillating as usual

Loved this final in the series, the glimpses of old familiar characters and introduction of new fiesty fully rounded ones was great.
A couple of interesting twists and a well deserved round-up conclusion.
Thanks again to a brilliant author, also to the narrator who does add to the enjoyment.

Restless after Restless

It was good Laurens but not great Laurens. I had been anticipating the Restless Bride for months. However the bride was not as restless as the others were brazen, elusive, etc. Compared only to the other books in this series: I give the Restless Bride three stars. The entire series is five stars all the way. If you purchase this one first, make sure you read at least one of the others for balance.

What did you love best about Reckless Bride?

This was a great conclusion to the Black Cobra series. Fast paced at times, other times, leisurely development of the characters. Well done, Stephanie!

What does Simon Prebble bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

No one can narrate a story better than Simon Prebble! If he reads it that automatically adds a few stars for me! He did very well with this one and it added the icing to a rather nice cake. I heartily recommend this one. It has been one of my favorites.

Disappointing

The last of the black cobra books was very disappointing. It was dull, dull, dull. Aside from a brief part near the end when they confront the Black Cobra it just wasn't interesting. The secret of the Black Cobra's identify wasn't much of a secret. I guessed it in book 3.

If you've been reading the series, you'll probably read this one, but not one of SL's finest.

Reckless Bride

I was very disappointed in this book. It is nothing like the others. It is nothing but sex, can't find the storyline after all the sex! This is not the usual Stephanie Laurens style of book and a big let down after the other 3 in the series.
