Publisher's Summary

Book four in the New York Times best-selling series The 100. Now a hit TV show on the CW!

Centuries after nuclear war has destroyed our planet, humanity struggles to rebuild. It's been a month since the dropships landed and the rest of the Colonists joined the 100 on the ground. The teens, once branded juvenile delinquents, are now leaders among their people. But suddenly a new threat looms on the horizon - something neither Colonists or Earthborns have prepared for. In this thrilling fourth installment, Clarke, Bellamy, Wells, and Glass are pushed to the limits as they fight to protect their people...and to survive.

boring as hell

I honestly don't know how the show writers made these boring books into such an exciting show but they definitely don't need to give Kass Morgan much credit. I read all of the books just waiting for it to get good and it never did.

Books vs TV series

I have enjoyed the books a lot more than the TV series. Story line is much more realistic than fantasy.

By far the weirdest book of the series

This book was probably the hardest one for me to get through because there was just so much happening that was new. It was good in the end when it all clicked but it was very hard to visualize what exactly was happening. The first three books had such a great structure to them this one was very out of the box. I still recommend but be warned it's an odd one

value brand terminus

just feels like an altered version of terminus from the walking dead. i like mass Morgan's writing style and she did a good job with this concept, I just wasn't a fan of the concept itself.

Great end, mediocre everywhere else

I have been a fan of The 100 since the first episode premiered. Clarke, Blake, Octavia, John (Murphy) are all amazing characters with arcs that are mindblowing at times. I'm sad that I cannot say the same for the books. While I did manage to finish the series (this is the final book), I am left feeling disappointed. There are some really interesting events throughout the book (and the series overall), but they were not frequent enough for it to keep my interest overall.

I gave a 3/5 star rating because I was able to finish the book without regretting it afterwards, but it is definitely not worth anything higher. I also believe that the narrators were what bumped it from a 2 to a 3. They were phenomenal and I'm hoping to find more narrated by them.

Overall, it was meh. (But if you like the show, you have to listen to the last 3-4 minutes. Seriously. You're welcome.)

not as good as books 1-3

Clark's mistrust of bellamy and the character Paul are detrimental to the overall series. I enjoyed the first 3 books a hundred percent more.
