Real Stories, Fake Deaths: Kobe Bryant

Marcus Goldstein, a photographer and journalist is freelancing for online tabloid news. While staking out a celebrities home in the area where Kobe Bryant's helicopter crashed he's tipped off by an insider at TMZ about it. The trouble is, the tip preceded the explosion by about 33 seconds. This leads him to question whether anybody was in that helicopter at all, and he falls into conspiracy theory rabbit holes, bottoming out at the one about Hollow Earth, the Mars bases, and where the elite will go to escape a coming flood. He gets the story of a lifetime, but placing truth ahead of sanity has its price and it may take him to the gate of Hell itself.
