A great start to an exciting series!

mechs, guns, swords, and battle babes - what's not to like?

The story is engaging, and the nerration is solid.

This book does have adult themes and relationships, but does so with taste.

Overall - a fun story and well worth a credit.

I look forward to more from this author.

Unique and enjoyable

Definitely a story that had more surprises than I'd first thought. I'll certainly be looking forward to hearing how the story progresses in the next installment.

started off good went quickly bad

the very beginning of the book I was hopeful even though I felt the narrator was overly dramatic with his speech however the book went quickly bad when the MC couldn't even keep his mind off of sex in the middle of a battle then the MC suddenly becomes overly angry constantly suspicious of everything I had to stop listening to the book as is this sex-starved weirdo became too annoying to continue

an excellent addition to harem litrpg style novels

This was a very good addition to anyone harem litrpg fans collection. Honestly, I liked this more than the others other title, oblivion online. It was really quite good and had significant # of surprises that made it all the more interesting. There was plenty Of appreciation of the scenery. The narrator also did a splendid job.
That said, there is always room for improvement. One thing id definitely like to see more of from the author is a bit more variety and subtlety in his descriptive verbiage. For example, there are a lot more things to call a p$&%y than saying the word p#&%y all the time. And there is more to describe about a woman than fixating on a single mental title (like "battle goddess"). But, every author has their strengths and weaknesses. We cant hold every little thing against them, b/c they can never please everyone.
This was an excellent harem litrpg book for those who r fans of such things. Has e everything u could ask for. Bear in mind, this is a sci fi style litrpg, not fantasy. So u will be dealing with mostly technology based levelling, rather than magic.
Great book, looking forward to its sequal.
I was given a promo code by the author, so received this audio book free Of charge, in the interest of full full disclosure. However, I'd like to think I've been as fair and honest as possible in my review.

I had hoped this was better than it is

I’ve purchased literally hundreds of audiobooks over the past 4-5 years and out of all of them I had to completely stop listening to only 3-4 because they were just that bad. This book makes the list as # 4 or 5. I really have two pet peeves that were hit while listening, the first was the complete change in emotion for the characters from one sentence to the next like they weren’t really bothered by something that just happened. The second pet peeve kind of stems from the first, but I hate being pulled out of a story to wonder what the f**k the writer was thinking. For example (spoiler alert), the MC and one of the ladies he meets are basically enemies on different sides of a war where he has a hand in killing TONS of people. After having known him for like 5 mins and being told they will get some special reward (to help them survive), they have sex. Yep that’s right, known him for a very short period of time, found out he killed basically everyone you knew, and sleep with him anyways. I really tried to like this book but I actually had to stop listening and take a break because the plot, the characters, and numerous other items just drove me nuts. Finishing this book feels like a rather unpleasant chore but I really can’t stand having wasted money on this. If you do get this book I honestly hope you love it... just don’t get your hopes up.

Good start

The story could have flowed better, and stay constant. But it is a good start to a series

Slow start

With Machine God as a character this book does not have a deus ex machina problem.

I think with some small tweaks to the story, the beginning could have been streamlined. Much of the beginning was of little relevance. The book honestly could have started in the missile control room. He could have awakened without his suit.

Crafting and killing

A mans world lost in war to be thrown into another. A fight for love, a fight for friends and a fight with enemies unseen.

Proper cringe fest

The story is all over the place. The MC has the mind of a rapist. In one chapter they go from bows and arrows to battle mechs with the ai getting a part human, part robot body... with no explanation on where the body parts came from, which is strange, as it was an issue (body parts) that mattered before...

The first few chapters were good. So that was a shame. The book just goes downhill from the middle.
