Loved it

This is the first book in the last riders series. Read the book when it first came out. Needless to say I was hooked. I own and have read them several times. If you want to laugh, cry and can't wait to read the next book this is the. Series for you.

no bad not bad at all

good for a evening alone surprised at something that happened w characters . could have more hotter sex but that's me. like this narrator alot.

I was nervous about this due to the reviews but...

I'm surprised I liked this. the reviews spoke of cheating, brash men, selfish hero and passive heroine. I really like Beth. I understood her innocence, her naivete, her loving heart and the way she took care of everyone. It had cringeworthy moments because Riazor was a typical man. Selfish, uncompromising, a whore and self absorbed. His growth to love and compromise for Beth was natural and believable. Pulled at my heartstrings. And discovering the snitches within the club added excitement to this story. enjoyed it!

Liked book when I wasn't irritated

I liked everything about this book other than the main characters. Beth had a rough upbringing, but she put up with way too much crap from Razor. The narration was OK. Beth's voice was super annoying but Razor's wasn't bad.

Fantastic series

This is one of my favorite biker series! I am a 60 yo married wasp with over 1000 books in my audible library. I prefer paranormal & gay romances along with this kind of gritty romance. I say this because some of the reviews are horrified by the "free sex lifestyle" of this club that pushes the boundaries of other biker clubs.
However, I think JB does a great job of making the sexual lifestyle of this club real & understandable. Women can also be members of this club & although they enjoy sex, lots of it openly, creatively & with multiple partners, these women are of more value to the club than your usual club whores in other biker stories. The sexual proclivities also play an important part in the storylines as well as the romance, angst & character development of every book in the series.
I don't often write reviews even though I frequently choose my books because of them.
I have really enjoyed every book in this series. I consider them very credit worthy & will definitely be adding this author to my favorites list.

I really enjoyed this

I am glad I listened to this regardless of some of the negative reviews. I thought the narrator was good and I felt that most of the book was believable.

Not what it sounds like in the description.

If you were hoping for a Badboy turns loyal this may not be for you. The description isnt completely off but it's more like they try to pull her to the dark side than pulling him to a path of loyalty, dont get me wrong it comes in the very last few chapters, but if you like your ladies feisty you are going to hate this book. Forgiveness is divine and all that but the author takes it too far for sex. Just because you are in love with someone or are attracted to them doesnt mean because they touch you, you are going to melt. Especially with all he pulled. Good luck, hope you enjoy it more than I did.

I like that u didn't know how this book would end and that it showed how different the churches can be so different ever though they have the same religion
