The First Light fades As Night Falls and the Raven’s Call comes ever closer.
The war that everyone feared has finally arrived. Duke has taken over Ignum and is quickly turning the pack into an army unlike anything ever seen in the Spires. The disease, now known as the Madness, is still running rampant, cutting off Solum’s food supply as the cold season sets in. Delta’s plan, although not yet fully revealed, is being put into action, and it promises to destroy Solum long before the war or starvation can reach them. Meanwhile, Charles is doing nothing to stop the advancements of the disease or to defend his pack from the encroaching enemy forces. With nowhere left to turn, Step sets off in search of an ally that can save Solum from utter devastation. This journey will take him face-to-face with a monstrous beast known as the Icesnatcher and ultimately lead him deep beneath the Spires. However, there are secrets lurking in the ethereal darkness, ancient lies and bloody deceptions that could prove to be just as dangerous as anything on the surface.
As Step will soon find out, some things are better left buried.
