Raleigh Harmon Prequel Mysteries: Books 1-3

Stone and Spark

During the worst week of her life, Raleigh Harmon discovers her destiny.

Raleigh's best friend—a smart-mouthed genius girl named Drew Levinson—is missing. Everybody insists Drew ran away. But Raleigh suspects something worse.

Armed with one rock hammer, an encyclopedic knowledge of city criminal codes, and a stubborn streak wide as the Chesapeake Bay, Raleigh searches for clues.

  • Did Drew secretly meet somebody?
  • Did her loony parents finally push her over the edge?
  • Or is Raleigh’s hunch dead-on: Drew didn’t choose to leave….

The first book in the best-selling Raleigh Harmon mystery series, Stone and Spark introduces the girl who will grow up to become a forensic geologist and FBI agent—provided she survives her high school years.

Stone and Snow

Secrets run deep.

After surviving a terrifying experience, Raleigh Harmon's ready to relax and enjoy the Christmas season with her new boyfriend.

But her kind and smart classmate Sloane Stillman is suddenly found dead—by suicide. Only Drew Levinson refuses to believe it, and she says science can prove Sloane didn’t kill herself. The harder Raleigh tries to show Drew the truth, the more she herself questions the facts, and the people she once trusted.

Christmas swirls in like a snowstorm, and Drew spirals downward, burying Raleigh under mountains of evidence about Sloane’s suicide,. It threatens to destroy everything, including Raleigh’s new relationship with her boyfriend.

Desperate to put the pieces back together, Raleigh digs for answers, trying to uncover what really happened on that cold, silent night when Sloane Stillman lost her life.

Stone and Sand

This was no accident . . . or was it?

Raleigh Harmon has just won a coveted science contest, and the chance to compete for a $50,000 college scholarship. Great news, right?

Only her goofy aunt drives her to the contest in North Carolina, and as soon as they arrive, Raleigh realizes she’s way out of her league. The competitors are ruthless brainiacs. And she has no idea how to win this contest.

That suddenly changes when one of the competitors almost dies—and Raleigh looks like a prime suspect. With forty-eight hours to solve the science riddle, can she also pick out the bad guy—or girl—before they escape the island? And what if the bad guy is the boy Raleigh really likes?

Don’t short change this author by using Virtual Voice

This author writes clever, layered, and well researched plots with characters that you can love and hate with depth, strife and growth. Yet the audiobook is a shadow of what it should be because they didn’t use a real narrator or reader, who can know that they are mispronouncing the word “wind” every time it was read in a book about beaches that are always windy. I listened to them all because I adore the writing, but please use live readers with emotion and nuance for her other books! AI isn’t always the answer.
