Gripping

Although I am familiar with narrator Tor Thom, both the author K.L. Savage and the other narrator Tim Paige are relatively new to me.
Rainbow was a powerful, raw and gritty story that drew me in and kept me on the edge of my seat from the first chapter. The author had me in tears at the first chapter and the performance by Tor Thom and Tim Paige was spot on.
There were so many twists and turns that I felt as though I was on tender hooks but I had to keep listening as I needed to know what happened next. This is a powerful story of determination, of overcoming the horrors of ones past and learning to live and love again and the narrators both did justice to the characters with their performances.

Spectacular listen!

KL Savage is fast tracking to the top of my must listen list! Each book she releases is different, engaging and just an all around entertaining story. Baton Rouge is a town with a twang, and Rainbow has a slight hint of that down south voice. Moving there with his brother, Mime, after his parents died seemed like a good idea. Now a smoke jumper and part of the Ruthless Kings MC, he has settled into his life. When he first sees Ryan, an EMT, he is taken a back. Never attracted to men before, what is it about this one? Ryan is doing a favor for a friend in Baton Rouge. Who would think he may find his soulmate there? But there is danger lurking. People are getting killed around them, the hurricane is fast approaching and they are needed in the field. Will these two get the happily ever after they deserve? Talk about heart wrenching. The prologue of this book had my heart squeezing tight and I could not wait to hear what happened to Rainbow and Mime. Once in the MC, the story truly takes off as we struggle the fires, the water and the discrimination. Twists and turns, romance and suspense, I was on edge. The story is exciting, and all the intricacies aid in the thrills. I loved this story and can't wait to see what this branch of the Ruthless Kings will bring us next.

Narrated by the talents of Tor Thom and Tim Paige, the story is vibrant and intoxicating. Rainbow is such a fantastic character. The depth of his personality shaded by his past comes through in Thom's portrayal.Thom creates his personality with a hint of grief, incredible loyalty and a love like no other, all through his voice. Paige enters as Ryan. Though at first a little meek, Ryan truly comes alive and Paige follows his path. Each scene, he is steadfast and true, his bravery and devotion all portrayed through his voice. This is the perfect team for this story, and brought hours of entertainment.

Nathan "Rainbow" is a smokejumper and the vice president of the Ruthless Kings MC in Baton Rouge where he and his brother have called home since losing their parents to a forest fire. One of the MC brothers gets shot and Ryan, a paramedic from Las Vegas who is in town to help with the incoming hurricane, shows up to treat him. When Rainbow lays eyes on him everything in him shifts. Having never been attracted to men before, he is not too sure what to make of this new attraction but when Ryan's life is in danger, Rainbow knows that he needs to do everything he can to save him, including jumping into a raging forest fire.

This was my first Ruthless Kings and K.L. Savage book and I loved it. Rainbow and Ryan are complete opposites with Rainbow being all growly and Ryan seeming so innocent. The banter between them had me laughing and smiling often. There are some very heavy parts to the book that literally brought me to tears. I highly recommend this book and have started my binging of all the Ruthless Kings books.

Audio ... Tor Tom and Tim Paige did a great job narrating this story and bringing the story and characters to life.

ok so i was a little worried at first but i absolutely fell in love with this book. I need more books right this minute lol. It does feel a bit rushed and a lot at once but i still give it a 5/5.The characters are amazing and go threw so much but its bonds them in the end. this is a must read/listen.

Wow, just wow! I signed up to review this book on a whim, that thankfully paid up because I pretty much loved everything about this book!

Rainbow is a straight smokejumper and firefighter and Vicepresident of the Baton Rouge's Ruthless Kings MC, he's determined to save anyone he can in his profession to make up for not being able to save his own parents. Ryan is an EMT on loan from Las Vegas, sassy and unafraid of the big, bad bikers he comes across. Rainbow is instantly attracted to Ryan and while Ryan isn't willing to be his experiment, it's also very difficult to say no to a very determined Rainbow. But not everyone is happy about them getting closer.

This was pretty much instalove and GFY, and I absolutely loved it. The connection, the attraction, the sizzling chemistry was definitely there and Ryan and Rainbow were perfect for each other. I adored them together and it was refreshing that Rainbow's sudden realization that he was attracted to Ryan was such a non-issue. Ryan was just amazing and Rainbow's protectiveness made me melt every single time.

The suspense portion was well done, I was completely blindsided by it! All in all, this was a great introduction to KL Savage's MC world and I'm looking forward to reading more stories in this world.

While I got an ARC of this story, I bought the audiobook, and Tor Thom and Tim Paige's spellbinding narration brought all these characters to life. Highly recommendable!

This is amazing! KL Savage never disappoints in any of her books and is willing to discuss things others would rather keep silent about. This book will make you laugh, cry and make you believe there is good in the world, no matter how bad it gets.

I absolutely loved this book the Ruthless series is so addictive . This book will make you laugh, cry , smile and fill your heart with joy and also heartache and anger for all that these men have to endure. I am a very proud supporter of the Pride community and believe everyone has the right to love who they choose and be proud of who they are . Thank you for another amazing book can't wait for the next one I can't read them fast enough😉

At Rainbow's End

Rainbow is K.L's first outing in M/M and my god,it doesn't show, as its so stunningly written! As always,it has all the feels and emotions that pulls at your heartstrings and goes straight for your jugular. The book begins with the ultimate devastation and heartbreak,two teenage boys could ever suffer...until years later, Rainbow fights fires aswell as being part of Ruthless Kings Baton Rouge chapter,his brother is also there and he has his fair share of issues,but you can tell straight from the start,the love the two of them share is unbreakable. Rainbow thinks he has to save everyone, save everything when really deep down he needs to be saved and be complete and happy,and that happens when he meets the sassy and full of attitude paramedic that is Ryan. Rainbow is his dark to his light,his calm to his sass and the final piece of the puzzle called his heart. There are forces who are threatening the both of them, because of who they are, what they stand for,but absolutely nothing will stand in their way, and they know they have all of the Kings behind them. It's so exciting to be meeting a new chapter the Ruthless Underworld,and I can't wait to see what comes next!

My first read by a well known author duo and it was beyond a winner. I see this is their first M/M romance and if I may say so, I really hope they do it again. I would love to read the stories of the rest of this MC (MM or otherwise, honestly) I haven't connected to an MC club as fast since the Hades Hangmen (for context that's my all time favourite MC series) so I'm hooked. The instant attraction between Nathan and Ryan was intense. On top of that there was tragedy in both their past and a really intense suspense element running right through this. This was a page Turner for sure and unbelievably addictive. Glad I have an extensive back catalogue to dive into. I volunteered to read and review an early copy of this. All opinions are my own
