Love and evil are both in the air.

This was fun and a good way to spend my commute time. I have it a four for some pacing issues and a couple of moments where the characters presumed things that seemed sort of ridiculous.
That said plenty of great characters, a fun premise, some real stakes, and loads of characters finding love. And whiles there are some instant connections, they all aren’t, and most of the immediate ones are wolves which I hear is a wolf-shifter trope. (Dont read many wolf books.)
Large cast might have been harder but the speaker is always well marked by the author and the narrator subtly gives each a voice in a way that kept me from being lost.
