Realize he's a good man and they fall for each other. What really touches my heart is how Ray stands up to Pinky's father. Then adopts him. Would like to see more from these 2.

Overall, good read

I don’t understand why the term “big black man” was necessary to be used so many time after it was initially established. Overall, I enjoyed the book.
