Powers brought Grantland's autobiography The Tumult and the Shouting to the radio masses in a weekly 15-minute radio show that literally started on page one of Rice's autobiography, and moved through the entire book over 52 episodes. Each week contained Rice's rich stories and reflections of Babe Ruth, Jack Dempsey, Knute Rockne, and other sports greats.

Wonderful content. Needs an update.

Wonderful old style read - but they should cut out the song at the beginning and end of every chapter. You end up with 45 minutes of trumpets to skip over.
But Grants' words are epic and the best of the times.
