Never perfect, but always enlightening.
Me. Allen's pov is often clear, and certainly his pov makes it into his characters' words, but the conversation is deep and enticing. Makes you sometimes want to shout "fight!" just to get the rumble under the surface out into the open. But everyone always remains polite and refined. The issues are the same now as they were 50 years ago.
