Publisher's Summary

No jockey likes being labelled a cheat. Least of all by a Stewards' Enquiry. Kelly Hughes career looks doomed. He knows he's been framed, but finding the reason could prove dangerous. Especially with a killer on his tail...

Hughes' own enquiry uncovers dynamite that could blow the racing world to smithereens. Only a few powerful - and violent - men know the sordid secret. And they'll go to extraordinary lengths to keep it that way. Murder is just one option...

Here's a BBC Radio 4 full-cast dramatisation of Dick Francis' thriller novel.

Typically Great Dick Francis

This dramatized production is well-paced, with excellent characterizations and interpretation. Only drawback, all things must come to an end!

The Brilliant Dick Frances Tops Again dé

This full cast production is a must listen for all who enjoy their Dick Frances or looking for a genuine suspense thriller that will keep you entertained many times over from start to finish. Excellent clear dialogue, this script is a dream. I am proud to add this to my collection and now off to look for what I hope will be many more Frances Dramatisations.
