In the harsh and unforgiving Arizona high desert, Joan has carved out a solitary existence, far removed from the haunting memories of her past. I couldn't stop listening!

The story was fast, moving, dramatic, and intense! I listened to this within 24 hours start to finish! The voices were distinct and did an amazing job with character development. The narration was on point! Great combination between the author and narrator!

Great summer thriller with excellent narration!

I loved how this story was told. The author clearly did her research which makes the story feel authentic and the characters genuine. Props on the narration as well, I was grabbed instantly listening to the demise of the poor rabbit right from the start of the prologue and it just gets better as you meet Carrie, Joan and of course Max! The narrator brought them all to life without going over the top. Perfect summer audiobook to buy for fast paced story that is terrifying and exhilarating!
