The AI voice didn’t help but this was very lacking in human emotion. Like the people were robots at times. Forcibly garish situations popped in and out and weren’t described well enough to provoke my own emotions. I had to leave this recording after 30 minutes. In all fairness I’m listening to another book by this author to see if things get better. Good thing these are included in my membership.
