An Addiction Recovery Lunch-hour Speaker Meeting. A new guest speaker from any 12 Step fellowship who is actively working in recovery, will speak for 25 minutes each week on a specific recovery topic. This will be followed by a moderated 25 minute Q & A session from the live audience. The live speaker meetings will be held on Zoom each Friday at 10:00 AM Pacific time. To attend the live recordings and have the opportunity of asking questions of the guest, please send an email to reco12pod@gmail.com and request to get on the invitation list. All aspects of recovery will be covered, including but not limited to: Steps, Blessings of Recovery, Relapse Prevention, Sponsoring, Specific aspects of recovery, What to do if I relapse, etc. We invite each guest speaker to seek guidance so they can reflect the light they have been given in order to inspire hope, meaning, growth and worth in each of us, the listening audience.
Reco12 is an open-to-all addictions and afflictions organization, dedicated to exploring the common threads of the differing manifestations of alcoholism; sharing tools, and offering hope from those walking a similar path. We gather from diverse backgrounds, faiths, and locations to learn and support one another. Our speakers come from various fellowships and experiences, demonstrating the universal principles of recovery. Reco12 is not allied or affiliated with any specific 12 Step fellowship.

    Marty E from Anchorage, Alaska came to the SA fellowship in 2008 at the age of 37. Having fought and lost since 12 years old, he never knew there was an answer to his problem until a friend told him there was a recovery program for lust. He initially came in, attended meetings, didn’t get a sponsor, didn’t work the steps, and to his surprise he didn’t get sober. When he finally got a sponsor, worked the steps and followed his suggestions, Marty had a spiritual awakening. It is THE result of working the steps.

    He loves talking with newcomers, giving away his literature and working with his sponsees. God has shown him how to build the fellowship he craved.

    Reco12 is an open-to-all addictions and afflictions organization, dedicated to exploring the common threads of the differing manifestations of alcoholism; sharing tools, and offering hope from those walking a similar path. So whether your “thing” is alcohol, drugs, sex, gambling, food, … whatever… you are home here. We gather from diverse backgrounds, faiths, and locations to learn from and support one another.     Robert Pardon first came into recovery February 9, 1986 and met a group of people who would change his life. After a short relapse, Robert came back to recovery on April 25 of 1986 (we are coming up on another one-day-at-a-time birthday… 40 years!) and Robert has been clean and sober ever since. Robert's mission is to become more well and to encourage others along the way. Robert is also the host of The Recovery Guy Podcast and was also a panelist on the 12-part Reco12 series called the "Ask-it Basket".
