Excellent intergalactic saga

This series was absolutely fantastic! I really enjoyed the storylines because the author creates a special sci-fi universe that was simple to follow. The unique group of characters developed into a crazy & colorful starship crew. Each book left me anxious for more of their adventures . The narrator was awesome! He captured the variety of voices & personality of each exactly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in a light-hearted & friendly space saga.

Thoroughly enjoyed...

I have consumed all 7 books in this series over the last two months or so. It's been a hell of a ride, pun intended...

I was a bit dismayed with this last book. It's kinda like watching "The Matrix" for the first time in 1999 and then following it with the sequels right after. The story started amazing, but the ending seems forced and uncomfortable. Everything was good until mid-point of book 6, and then I was just like "What? Where are we going?". The ending closed all the pieces, but there is an entire story-arc here that doesn't feel neccesary. I get that the author was probably trying to avoid the obvious ending of "Good job, chose one..." but I was kinda looking forward to it this whole time. Redemption is a helluva drug.

Imagine if you finally got to the end of Harry Potter and you learn at the last minute that Voldemort is not even the real bad guy, but there’s another wizard controlling him. Imagine the disappointment you’d feel.

The perfect ending, "for now"!

The entire series is a masterpiece from start to finish that left me eager for the next book each and every time. It was bittersweet to have it end, but even that was done perfectly. The narrator made the series more than it ever could have been on its own. If you haven't listened to these do yourself a favor and get them all. they are more than worth it. "Hell yeah!"

betrayal again? and again, and again....etc

audio quality is good but the author of this series has only one plot twist in there arsenal. character a is betrayed by character b, repeat each scene for 7 books.

What’s with “the ground”?

The stories were fine, but really. . .
Is English a second language for Forbes, or does he not have editors?
Every time someone or something is knocked down, regardless of where it is, a building, a Ship or other structure, they are knocked to the ground, not floor, or deck or platform, but the ground.
There are other inaccuracies in the stories, but this is one that verges on the point of stupidity.

Well D*mn

Well this was one action filled adventure with all the usual backstabbing and betrayals the series has become known for. Also it was an ending that wasn't really an ending. Next up is Haley's trilogy.

The end to a great series!!!

I couldn't wait for the final chapter, and I was extremely satisfied with how it all went down! "Let's do some evil...so no one else has to." A great line.

Every new book kept getting better, funnier, and w/ plot twists too!

I just binged through the entire seven book series and I would truly LOVE to see this 'world' and these characters made into a TV series as long as it would be done as wonderfully as the books were written. No tragic Stephen King novel butchering please!

I think this world created by the author would be an excellent fit with some other well done Sci-fi TV series such as Dark Matter, Killjoys, and The Expanse. Add this as a new series to those I've mentioned that are coming back for new seasons and I'd be a very happy well done Sci-fi fan. And if I can make some actor suggestions I think would be perfect for some of the characters... I would get ALL the actors if available from Babylon 5, Farscape, and Fringe who are available.

Next, I think I will give this author's other series a try while I wait for the next series of books of the next chapter of Hell's Rejects. FRAGGIN AWESOME AND I LIKE IT!!

A good end and a promise of a new beginning

An epic climatic battle that followed a series of close-call encounters. The death and life of the demon queen was close to shark-jumpy but it was only a minor chafe, considering the rest of the story was rock solid.

A bit underwhelmed

Considering the cost of 7x audio books you kind of hope the ending is going to be awesome. Disappointed

The End .... or is it?

Loved this series, although in the beginning I was doubtful I would stay the course. I am so glad I did.

Although this was, initially, difficult at the start to pick up the thread from the last book, once there it was full speed ahead. Action scenes towards the end kept me listening through the night.

This series is definitely worth the credits and it always helps any series if you have a good narrator, which this series did.
