Oraciones extensas, el oyente se pierde
Escuché el libro en español, pensando que lo disfrutaría más. Sin embargo, las descripciones de todo son tan y tan y tan extensas que se pierde la perspectiva de lo que se estaba describiendo. La historia es entretenida y la época del renacimiento está llena de drama. En mi opinión la trama principal no se le sacó provecho; el enfoque se desvió. Me quedé con las ganas de saber que más ocurrió luego de la masacre.

Inteligencia y creatividad
Es verdad que está de moda la novela histórica. Pero en pocos casos como en éste, se ve la pasión por la historia del arte resaltada por el prodigio del bien narrar. Sus escenas son prístinas, nos trasladan al lugar y nos enredan en los hechos. Los retratos de los personajes llegan a conmover. La historia que narra es apasionante. Se me hace una muy buena autora. Soy historiadora del arte, trabajo en museos y recomendaré el libro a mi círculo de amistades.

Imposible de escuchar
Lamentablemente la peor elección de narrador he visto hasta hoy día. La Sra. tiene un seseo tan tan fuerte que pareciera silbar en los oídos, haciendo tan tan incómodo, hasta lastimoso el poder escuchar el libro. En el auto aún bajando el volumen, bajando los agudos y subiendo los bajos igualmente se hacía incómodo. Con auriculares?!… pues una tortura, literalmente lastima los tímpanos. Alguien debería corregir esto en edición. La Historia vale la pena pero realmente opté por audiolibro porque no tengo tiempo para leer. Si Ud. Si lo tiene, léalo, no opte por audio si quiere a sus tímpanos.

fue una gran sorpresa
atraída solo por el título , lo descargué sin ninguna ilusión porque no conocía a la autora . La novela es ágil y entretenida , muy buen ambientada y con información artística e histórica que la hacen más apasionante . Tal vez la única crítica es que termina muy abruptamente.

Me gustó. La voz de la narradora me encanta, hace que la historia sea más fácil de comprender. En general me entretuvo mucho el audiolibro, especialmente al inicio y al final. En alguna parte siento que fue un poquito aburrido, pero nunca llegó a desencantarme. Si te gusta la novela histórica, este es tu libro.
