Old, mostly out-of-date book

I bought this book because I thought it would be current and relevant given the author and copyright date. Truth is it was mostly written a while ago and is largely out-of-date. The recent copyright is misleading since I learned after purchase that it is not a first edition. It seemed barely refreshed. I was very disappointed.
