Surprisingly a good listen!

I had toyed with listening to this story for a few months. I finally decided to listen and I am glad I did! This story is a young adult (sort of). The sex scenes were hot, unexpected in a high school story. However, this story is well written. The characters and sub-characters are interesting and the love story believable. I would recommend this story for a credit or sale! Definitely better than most available audio's at the moment!

Powerful Story

Where does Punk 57 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's up there! The story was fantastic, the narration perfect for the characters. Loved everything about it.

Have you listened to any of Laurie Catherine Winkel and Matthew Holland ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is the first audio book I have listened to for both narrators. They did an AMAZING job. How can it be I haven't come across either of them yet?

This story had so many amazing messages! The story was definitely more than I had anticipated with lots of twists and turns along the way.

Great Book

I really liked this book. The twists were good, characters were great and the narrators were good!

Couldn't stop listening! Great story/romance

This book was so much more than I expected. I can't believe how long I have had this book in my library waiting.

That being said...MY GOD, Ryen pissed me off!! her snobby personality just to fit in was so cruel. Especially when it came to standing up for others, like Manny. While I could somewhat understand her reasoning for why, I just can't believe people would be so cruel.

Trey got what he deserved but wish he had been put in his place more.

"Mason" was just as cruel in words and actions as Ryen at times and it just made me heart ache.

Thank God everything came together as it did. Great narration and more than worth the listen...It may be set in high school but the sexual chemistry is still shown.

I normally do not write lengthh reviews saying much at all, but I really did like this book.

Unexpected

This book was unexpected to say the least. I bought it when it was on sell and didn't listen to it for a while. Now I'm wondering what took me so long. One of the best books I've listen to in a long time. The story was different and very good. Everyone should read it. Excellent story.

Exceptional

From start to finish, this book had my rapt attention. I could not put down the phone because I needed to know what was gonna happen next in the series of events from this composition.

Have to say, I did not see this ending though (and no it's not the epilogue, but the part before it - call me blind, but it the ending totally came out of left field).

Penelope Douglas, thank you for composing this very excellent story so I could get engrossed in it. I loved every minute of it and I'm looking forward to more stories just like this one, from you.

Great story

A bit too emo sometimes but honestly any negatives are far overshadowed by the plot, twists, the HEA, and the writing itself. I don't usually like angsty books, but this one didn't go so over the top that it got corny. It was a good balance of a lot of things and was well narrated.

Great book

Probably one of the authors best work. Glad I got around to reading it. Will probably read again just to catch what I missed.

Fun, Sexy and Surprising!

Loved this story! Great writing, characters and story make this amazing and memorable. It was hot and sexy, but also full of surprises. The relationships between the characters and the daily grind of high school life are eye opening!
The ebb and flow of their lives and feelings go from exciting to terrifying. The heroine and hero are realistic and wonderful, with love, growth and maturity that show their caring and awareness for others. The hot sex is really good, confirming their ability to love and be adult in their choices. Excellent in every way!!!
