Enjoyable pumpkins

A really good read! So nice that such a good plot line was not
Ruined by bad language

Different

small-town, teaching, murder, family-dynamics, friendship, law-enforcement

The first mystery was to determine if it was murder, followed by whodunit. The second mystery involved some interesting guests to the Lodge and the apparent pretext bringing them there. Add in a very busy life, mourning a good friend, and family madness and there you have it.
The narrator had an interesting presentation.

it was a good story it flowed nicely and kept me engaged

The narrator was ok but some of the voices she did were just strange

Nice cozy mystery

This was exactly what you expect from a cozy mystery. I loved the setting. My only issue was that the main character is supposed to be in her 20s, but the narrator sounds like an old lady.

Sweet and clean

While I feel the narrator could do a bit more animation with her voice, overall this is good for lighthearted and cozy read.

Quick and easy.

I figured it out early but still enjoyed getting to know the characters. They are people worth knowing

Average book

I was really bothered by the fact that the detective was just so open to her investigating. typically there is push back but she just plowed along in the open. the narrator to me was very okay leaning towards the annoying side but I managed to listen I just didn't find the world that was created was terribly enticing where the characters very interesting or the narrator real sympathetic or interesting or dynamic it was just a very flat book for me.

It’s a nice story. Easy listening. The narrator did a good job. The characters and story were fun.

I didn’t guess who did it

So refreshing to be surprised. The characters are relatable, the story was solid. I loved it.
