Publisher's Summary

Do you want to know more about psilocybin and the psychedelic experience? Do you think growing mushrooms is difficult?

Are you wondering if it possible to grow mushroom in your backyard?

Yes, you can!

Psilocybin and Magic Mushrooms is going to change your perspective about magic mushrooms and tell you how easy it is to grow your own!

While most people think mushroom is only a vegetable, they have been an integral part of medicine from a long time. Sacred mushrooms have been used for healing patients in the ancient times, even before modern medicine started considering them as an option. Psilocybin, a compound present in the mushrooms, is produced by more than 200 varieties of mushrooms, and that is what makes them magical.

Psilocybin, though technically a drug, is harmless in small quantities and, in fact, beneficial if used in the correct amounts. That’s why, the audiobook packs in a guide about the nutritional values and about all the different types of mushrooms and their benefits.

How do I know good mushrooms from the bad? Can I grow them?

Psilocybin and Magic Mushrooms gives out the secret to having your own mushroom garden. While it sounds very difficult to grow your own mushrooms, you can finally grow mushrooms in your own garden and switch to different types of mushrooms according to the seasons. Also, it is not limited to growing mushrooms; you can also use mushrooms as your own organic compost!

This audiobook will show you how to:

  • Find out what mushrooms offers to our bodies
  • Know about the different types of mushrooms
  • Identify mushroom types and their advantages
  • Grow your own mushrooms
  • Learn their nutrition and health benefits
  • Boost your immune system with mushrooms
  • Make compost out of mushrooms
  • And a lot more!

If you always thought of mushroom as just some ordinary fungus with no healing value, then you have found the right audiobook to change that, right now.

Misleading title.

The title of this book would lead you to assume that the main focus would center upon psilocybin mushrooms, this is not the case. A very very small section of this book is dedicated to information about psilocybin mushrooms, the rest is dedicated to information about non-psychoactive edible mushrooms. There is also a lot of information being repeated over and over again. While some of the information therein is interesting it is not altogether informative. The narrator of this title also makes a lot of pronunciation mistakes.

Not very informative

This book sounds like it has been translated from another language. The writing is completely disjointed and reads like a third grade book report-a bunch of random facts strung together into sentences. There is very little in the book about how to actually grow, with non-helpful tips such as 'the grower will want to learn about the different methods'. One section from the 'how to grow' chapter goes into how you should research popular types of mushrooms at your local supermarket, with very little on actually growing. Just about every chapter has a sentence about several popular types of mushrooms and noting that some are good for you and some can kill you. Overall I don't think I learned anything that I didn't already know, and I am a complete newby.

Title is very misleading.

The book is very short, only lasting a few hours. The information is pretty good but the headline is misleading as the book is mostly about mushrooms in general. The issue is that there are numerous errors and grammatical problems throughout that make it confusing occasionally. The reading is also dry and lackluster. The monotony makes the listening harder.

Not worth it

This book repeats the same information continously. Very misleading title, as there is not much info on magic mushrooms. Tons of unrelated stuff and repetitions. Did not finish, do not recommend

False advertising

Nothing in the entire book was about psilocybin and magic mushrooms. Useless information to someone wanted to grow mushrooms at home and learn about magic mushrooms. I can learn more in a 15 minute YouTube video than this entire book. Very disappointing read. Change the title to facts about mushrooms and useless nutritional information

"Introduction to mushrooms" is a more appropriate

Very vague and rudimentary. Would be a good introduction to a first time enthusiast.
Lots of fluff. No substance

Bad trip; Fraudulent come on

The author should be ashamed of himself for the use of the title. The book is not about psilocybin, you will master nothing from the information offered. I’m returning the book for credit. This title was advertised by Audible on Instagram so I made the assumption it’s OK to buy. My bad for not reading the reviews.

Not As Advertised

Very little if anything regarding psilocybin. Mostly made me hungry due to the exhaustive information on how to prepare various edible mushrooms in recipes and their various uses.
