Great!!

I absolutely fell in love with this book. I'm not much for love stories with books as I am withovies, but the story between Nina and Jared will make you melt over and over again. loved it!!!

Amazing!

I had a friend that kept insisting I read this book but I kept putting it off and was reading other books. UT when I finally started this book, the first chapter had me hooked!

Nina is a young girl with a great protector that fell in love with her as he protected her from evils that her father had hid from her. their love journey will trap you! I even found myself in tears when love brought them back together.

Fighting to save each other from dying and the love to protect each other and the strength they have to fight for each other is amazing!

the writing in this book is amazing. Jamie McGuire takes you on a journey and you never have to guess at what she is talking about. a very well written book!

I am excited to read book 2 now.

I have listened to and/or read all of Jamie’s books and for some reason I always skipped over this trilogy. I am ashamed I have not listened to it until now. It is soooo great! She never ever disappoints! I will forever be a fan!

The relationship between Nina and Jared.

Which character – as performed by Carly Robins – was your favorite?

Nina, she is strong and amazing and even though you kind of want to hate her for hurting Jared you understand that it all out of good intentions

Love among good and evil

Jamie McGuire and Paranormal!! A great change

What made the experience of listening to Providence the most enjoyable?

I love paranormal books. I have listened to this narrator before and I love her. I loved being able to "hear" a voice with the book. It makes reading the book more enjoyable when you can hear how someone may sound.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Providence?

Providence had a lot of moments that will last with me. Nina and Jared relationship was rocky to say the least. I loved when Nina finally realized that Jared was it for her. No one else would ever take his place and once she realized that his family was very protective not only of him but of her. They loved her and would do anything for her. The fight scenes and Jared's family and Nina's friends made listening even better.

Which scene was your favorite?

There were so many but when the intruders came in the house and didn't know what Jared's family was really "made of" was surprising. I loved his siblings and their innocence but also their strength.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I listened to it at work so there was minimal distraction and I loved it

Loved it. I could not put it down. I've read almost all of Jamie McGuire's books and she has not disapointed me yet.

Heart-warming, drool-worthy, romantic-filled book

What made the experience of listening to Providence the most enjoyable?

The storyline + Carly Robin's voice made the listening experience most enjoyable. It's very difficult to find a Jamie McGuire book I haven't liked. Having both combinations of a favorite author and an enjoyable voice was just perfect for me.

What did you like best about this story?

The romance and love. The main characters were the best part of the story.

I love both characters equally. I think Nina is awesome, she’s very level-headed, passionate and at times reckless, but usually for a worthy cause. She doesn’t always do things I agree with and sometimes I just think to myself, is she really going to do that? But it just makes the book a little more intense and a little more ROMANTIC.

Jared is pretty much the whole package and more, he’s very protective and wears his heart on his sleeve. At times Jared can be a bit emotional, but he cares for Nina so much, you want him as your boyfriend or husband if you are my age.

Have you listened to any of Carly Robins’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

It’s narrated by Carly Robins and it’s about 14 hours. This is my first Carly Robins narration and I really enjoyed her voice. Her voice sounds youthful, which is important to me since Nina is young too. She doesn’t change her voice during Jared’s parts in a dramatic way. There is a distinction between the Jared’s and Nina’s voice, but Jared’s voice isn’t super deep. I kind of like that because it kind of shows Jared’s age. I didn’t want to hear a super deep voice when I was imagining Jared. The pace was perfect and I felt like I wasn’t going to miss anything. I really felt Nina’s emotions, her highs, lows and even when Jared turned her on and yes that is important to me (you know it is).

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It's 14 hours. If I could listen to any book for 14 hours it would be this one. However, it's a great book to read in bursts. I mostly listen to books when I'm doing other things and Providence is a great book to do that with.

5 Angel Saving Stars

Re-read Audio version. I love audio books. I love audio books even more when I re-read my favorite reads. It’s like you are experiencing everything for the first time and with DOUBLE the emotions.

If you have read this series or want to re-read this series. The AUDIO version is the perfect way to go.

Providence=swoon

It’s a mysterious, intriguing and super romantic book.

Nina is coping with the recent death of her father and the beginning is just so sad. You feel for Nina and ache for her. On her way back from the funeral, she shares a cab with Jared, who is 100% mysterious. I had no idea what direction this book was going to go, so I am glad I went into it blindly because everything was a surprise to me. The book is about Nina discovering the truth to her father’s death and who Jared really is.

Who is Jared? Where did he come from? What’s his story? It’s a BIG FAT mystery and I was itching to finding out. Uncovering who Jared and what role he plays was my favorite part of the book.

The Tension

There’s a slight love triangle with Nina’s best friend Ryan, this I enjoy because you want some friction, also Jared’s sister, Clare who isn’t too keen with Nina. I really liked Clare’s character and it made Nina’s character a bit more realistic, because I believe not everyone should love the heroine.

As I was reading Providence, I forgot Jamie McGuire also wrote Beautiful Disaster another favorite of mine. I see a lot of same style of writing with, passionate characters, epic love story and a huge roller coaster of emotions written in the book. I like that Providence isn’t a contemporary romance novel, a little fantasy makes it different.

If you are looking for a heart-warming, drool-worthy, romantic-filled book. This one is for you.
