Property Management | Interview with Dan Hayes

This week, I sat down with property manager and investing guru, Dan Hayes. Dan started his career, like many, in the corporate world but quickly wanted to know how to make his money work for him. It wasn’t long until he found real estate investing and grew to love it so much that he retired from his corporate position and started a family-run residential property management business that now manages over 1,000 properties across the state of Oregon. Dan shares some incredibly valuable insight on setting up your team around you, mistakes he learned from early on, the importance of having reserves, and some basics on what numbers to be looking at on a potential property you’re considering as an investment.
