Everything I Love in an Aleatha Romig Conclusion

4.5 Stars / 3 Steam Fans

This was a great conclusion to Aranea and Sterling's journey that has been crazy! To avoid spoilers just know that there were more twists and turns uncovered, some sexy banter, and the perfect amount of sweetness to round out this story that begun in Secrets. Aleatha Romig has blended a perfect amount of her darkness with her lightness and I loved every moment of all three books.

This specific video review will be included in the January 2019 wrap-up.

Good story line but really bad male narration

My first book series by this author. This review is for the full series.
If her narrator choices are not better than this I will need to go to Kindle to enjoy her stories.

This was the best part of the trilogy!

This third book was a relief. The Heroine finally got her head, out of the clouds, and learned that everyone has to learn to play the cards they are dealt. She also figured out that being stubborn won’t always get a person their way; and this is how it should be. The Hero and Heroine finally learn how to communicate and compromise, in this book. Thank gosh, their bickering was getting old.

Part three finally solves all the mysteries and rights all the past wrongs. I also was relieved that antagonist gets what coming to him, in the best way!

Love in the under belly of a big city

Too many romance books fall into the world of make believe. This series (this is book 3of 3) doesn’t disappoint. In fact it’s so heavy on make believe I was expecting unicorns with rainbow shooting out their singular horns.
The heroine, who has been hidden to protect her from a group of demonic men running their own illegal operations, releases only a portion of evidence she found to protect the man she loves. This man is a kingpin among the dirty elements of a big city (Chicago). Even thou said man’s father was one of three seedy leaders running human trafficking rings, she hides his father’s part among the evidence she found, knowing full well he deals in illegal drugs and control of a large city. I mean who wants your boyfriend’s father and those that worked for him held accountable for their crimes if it will affect the bottom line of dirty operations.
It seems to me that she turns a blind eye to all this because she inherited LOTS of money and uses the billions to finance counseling, education, medical care, etc for victims of sexual abuse.
I guess that’s one way to justify “love”

Excellent Conclusion

Promises was a nice ending to the series. It wrapped up the entire story nicely as we finally get the full story behind Araneae's life and Sparrow's involvement. It was pretty crazy, but kept me intrigued. I really like Araneae and Sparrow's relationship and her trust in him. The narration has been stellar to listen to as I was completely wrapped up in this series.

Interesting story

This was a suspenseful story. Just not enough romance for me. Male narrator needs to work on doing female voices. Love Savannah Peachwood. She is one of my favorites!

Unmissable!

Promises is the brilliant conclusion to this gripping trilogy by Aleatha Romig. Araneae finally finds out the secrets of her past and much more, with the overprotective Sterling by her side. It’s a fantastic series that you won’t want to miss!
