Publisher's summary

Washington, DC Has Been Destroyed

In the wake of a Kaiju assault that left the nation's capital in ruins, Jon Hudson - director of the Department of Homeland Security's Fusion Center, Paranormal - is preparing his team for an uncertain future. While hiding Lilly, a chimera cat-girl rescued from Island 731, from GOD - the Genetic Offense Directive, a black ops organization within DARPA - Hudson attempts to raise Maigo, the teenage girl who once was part of Nemesis - the now deceased goddess of vengeance. But the two strange girls can't be protected from what comes next.

Nemesis Lives

Kept in a massive warehouse operated by GOD, Nemesis's body is violated by the Tsuchi, the spider-like chimera also developed on Island 731. It spawns three Kaiju-sized variations of the deadly creatures and wakes Nemesis from her regenerative slumber. Nemesis, fueled by an unquenchable thirst for vengeance, and now lacking Maigo's conscience, storms after the Tsuchi, which have fled south, toward Los Angeles, and inland...toward GOD's headquarters at Area 51.

Sacrifices Must Be Made

To stop the infinitely hungry Tsuchi, and the rampaging Nemesis, Hudson and crew must make alliances with enemies - combining personal experience, future technology and bold actions. But for the world to once again be safe from a Kaiju menace, one of their own must give themselves up to the goddess of vengeance.

I couldn't stop listening to it. Great way to end the series but hopefully there is more.

Great follow up to two fun books

I am a big fan of the Project books by Jeremy Robinson and this book just built on the greatness of it's predecessors. The tongue in cheek humour was timed perfectly to suit the overall serious nature of the story. Definitely worth buying.

Yes!!!

The worlds JR creates are second to none!! Another fun ride here, I went in not liking monster books but But after reading the first few of the series I am off to the tattoo parlor to get a Kaiju tattoo, well maybe I don’t like KaiJu that much but these books are fantastic

Needs to be clear it's a sequel

I got this book thinking it's a standalone, but it turns out it's a sequel. It's fun, but there's plenty of events that came before. I would listen to the series in order, however, but I already know what happens.

Couldn't stop listening

Awesome storyline. Great action. Cool hi-tech gear! Explosions, gigantic monsters, kick ass fight scenes. It was as if the narrator was literally playing a major motion picture in the theatre in my mind!

This is good Kaiju

Would you listen to Project 731 again? Why?

Yes. Good characters! Nice Plots, with some nice surprises.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Nemisis and Maigo, well and Jon Hudson. They have a very interesting relationship and after this book it should be even more so. (I hate to give spoilers)

What about Jeffrey Kafer’s performance did you like?

Kafer is a very capable reader and gets voices different enough for me at least.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

This is how Americans can do a Kaiju. But Godzilla is still KING!!!!

The series just gets better

Narration flawless as always. Story not as strong as previous entries but good nonetheless.
