Full of practical examples & worthwhile learning..

I thought his explanations of the course content were thoughtful, and effective at giving someone a guide to understanding basic programming, with a bit of exposure to different but unique and easy programming languages.

One of the best start for newbies

This was a great book for programmers to read. It had a lot of very general, yet very useful advice for programmers. I loved the theory of programming. But the book isn't really about technology, is it? It's about craft and attitude. That's the thing that makes the book so gush worthy. You read the thing and you realise "oh, so this is how grown-ups hack". I wonder how much of this will actually sink in and affect my daily life as a programmer, though. Will I be that extra fraction more rigorous in my approach? Will I maybe be a little bit book.

Great book to work through.

Amazing teaching method. I am a beginner and thanks to the way he repeats I can easily grasp the meaning of the code. If the rest of the lecture keeps being the same way I am pretty certain I ll be able to move from beginner to intermediate in a short time period. Thanks for the skills.

Beneficial!

That's how the information is supposed to be passed on to someone new who has no working idea about the subject. This was a great introductory course to computer programming. I learned some interesting stuff.

Lot of useful information

Very complex training, you get a LOT of useful information. However, would have been nice more exercises for the students. But all in all, it was definitely worth the time

Useful and entertaining projects!

I have been listening the full course at 1.5 speed to gain a good understanding of the processes involved in each section. I have been impressed by the enthusiasm and teaching style of Bahl throughout. His approach and understanding of the various subjects in the course mean that even starting from no knowledge of the different topics students would easily develop good skills in all areas covered. I have now completed the first run through and I am looking forward to settling down to going over the course at normal speed and completing the set tasks. Thanks Daniel Jones for the effort you have put into making the subjects of this course accessible and interesting.

A Legitimate "Must-Buy".

The instructor is engaging, passionate, and an expert on this topic which makes his classes enjoyable which also keeps the topic interesting and fresh. The course covers examples of the complete range of technical considerations required to get a start on programming for the web which means it covers an end-to-end scope of programming options for the software required to understand web programming concepts. It is an intro course but I like how it covers the full working scope of skills and knowledge needed for web programming.

The BEST help a student could get!!

I am learning a lot and I am somewhat limited on things as a result of a medical condition, so I usually listen all of the courses while I am walking on a treadmill everyday and later redo the course at my desk at a later time. Right now I have another web course Linux: 5 Books in 1- Bible of 5 Manuscripts in 1- Beginner's Guide+ Tips and Tricks+ Effective Strategies+ Best Practices to Learn Linux Programming Efficiently+ Advanced Strategies by Daniel Jones going on my desktop, but as soon as that is completed I will be doing this course again and will leave a better more in depth review. Thanks to Jones and his team it was a well put on course and will be a good resouce for me in the future.

A blast

This is a great foundation course for How to write Bash scripts and automate your command line workflow, How to program in C++ and Python, The differences between functional and object-oriented programming and how they apply to you, How to understand and think about high-level programming concepts in order to become a better programmer in the end, A variety of options when it comes to finding specific sections of data amongst complicate strings, Key points to consider when writing if/then statements, Debugging and error solving tips and more… I like the instructor's pace and explanation; clear and concise. Teaching method was so good that I covered most of the topics and exercises in a couple of days. For sure, I'd have to return to each of those topics again to get better at it or remind me of how to do things, but definitely felt good to understand how all of these worked together and are complementary. I did have a little bit of understanding of HTML and XML prior to taking this course. And the whole idea for me to take this course was for me develop new skills, build web pages and python scripts as a hobby and also do better at work. Going through this course and connecting the topics with the applications I work with, made me appreciate how things work and feel more confident that I can support and troubleshoot the apps better. I'm hoping that Daniel adds more around REST API using HTTPS and javascript. :) Thanks Daniel for this great tutorial.

A good refresher for terms and basic....

A good refresher for terms and basic operations and it explains in great detail about two kinds of code and how they work and it also gives you a nice background knowledge on the linux programming as well as the excel programming. But as far as I see my fascination how everything works will be short lived and my mere interest for listening this book was to learn about excel and linux programming and i saw the title said beginners guide so I figured to give it a shot and this book didn’t fail me and it’s very easy to understand and i know that it is better to master one programming language than to know a little of everything and this book has helped me to figure out which among those programming languages I should focus on and this is the great thing about this audiobook and it gives you a glimpse of the syntax and features of two different programming languages and it is important for us recruiter to understand their work and little about their language and i like how this audiobook is narrated and the author really tries his best to explain the terminologies in easy term so it is easy to understand and this book is a must listen book as an introduction to programming and i wish when I was taking a computer class I would have had this book then and i can now code without any problem at all and this study guide counts with a lot of examples and step by step guides, explaining basic programming examples as well as more complicated stuff.

I've understand pretty much everything so far.

I'm in love with this audiobook, even though when I'm finished in the future and forget a third of what I've learnt, when I take other courses from this company or another, It'll all come back to me, this course is doing it's job great, and I'm proud to say I've understand pretty much everything so far.

Al is the MAN.

It's been really good so far. Mr. Daniel is a very good teacher, he seems to be able to make complex things become simple as much as possible. I knew ZERO about codding or HTML5 and I've just finished my first web page with tables and forms, music, etc. Highly recommended course, especially for who, like me, is new or relatively new to programming.

Easy to listen and covers a lot of ground!

This is a detailed guide if you want to access the VBA potential hiding inside all of Microsoft Office’s products. There is basic information about how to program in C++ and Python, and also recommendations that helped me understand where and what mistake I made earlier. Most novice learners face serious issues in learning computer programming. This audiobook has been specifically designed to cater the needs of a new learner as well as a skilled programmer. However, a word of advice for new learners is that you must go through the audiobook a couple of times to get a better understanding of the subject. This shall help you transition from a novice to expert. The first reading will help you form a foundation, which can be solidified by a second listening. To get the most of this audiobook, I would advice you to buy this audiobook, where you can practice what you listen. I was really astounded by perceiving what number of imperative recommendations accumulated in such a good length of 15 hrs. Author completed a phenomenal activity. I'll most likely prescribe this audiobook to my loved ones. I really appreciate this book. Thanks to creator.
