Ive been in hospitality industry for a long time and I thought I knew STRs. Couldn’t be more wrong. Daniel basically just wrote a bible for STRs, Things you think you know but actually you easily neglect them, there are a ton of small things you can do to outperform in any market. It feels illegal to get all this knowledge for basically free. Also, it is narrated by himself and it feels like Daniel is your mentor and best friend talking to you. I wrote this review after listening to 5 times and I will now buy the paper version from amazon just so that I can have it with me all the time.

This title has a wealth of information! This is the A-Z complete book on AirBNB. No stone is left unturned, the depth of detail is phenomenal. No AirBNB host should be renting without this book! It’s the Bible of the industry.

First Step to Five Stars: The Essential Holy Grail of AirBNB Knowledge

For the past few weeks, I had been experiencing analysis paralysis regarding the listing of my first property. While there's a wealth of good and insightful information online from others, much of it felt incomplete, or it led to pricey $5,000 masterclasses. Daniel's extensive experience shines through in this book, instilling confidence in me by the time I pressed the list button. I ended up purchasing both the physical copy and the audiobook, marking up the physical one for quick reference. I would suggest doing the same. This book is truly worth its weight in gold!

Book was easy to understand with lots of good content I would recommend it for hosts

Exceptional and Appreciated

This book answered a lot of questions I've had in regards to "what" I may or may not be doing to best help or hinder my STR business.
The only suggestion I have for other listeners is to try and find time to listen when you're not doing something else or working. I can't tell you how many times I wanted to stop what I was doing so I could log into my listing and check settings, apply changes, double check conversion, etc. The only thing that stopped me was knowing I had the PDF to reference back to after I completed the audio. I really do suggest listening all the way through (minus the sections that don't apply to you if you choose) as some parts tie into other parts. For instance, optimization and pricing are separate chapters but work with each other not only in your STR but in the book as well.
Speaking of the PDF, Audible must have misunderstood the intentions of the author and did not include it with my purchase. I contacted Daniel directly and he was more then happy to remedie the issue and directly sent me the PDF.
The moments of humor from the author and the moments of relating to certain issues we sometimes face as STR owners, made this book enjoyable and real.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this Daniel and for assisting me when Audible didn't get the memo!
