One of the best supers litrpgs that I have read!

Where do I start...? I can't properly express how much i enjoyed this story! I have gone through it twice now. Once, with reading on Kindle. And the other time with audible. Which, I'll go ahead say the narrators nailed it! Especially, Maeve York with her various tones and accents for the women. It's hard to say but she might be up there with my two favorites, Katana Jones and Jessica Threet!!
Jonathan Waters does a tremendous job with the primary narration of the book, the MC and some of the male characters. I've noticed that guys seem to have a harder time than gals, with having the ability to alter their voice and it still sounds like in real life.

I love the plot weaving and storytelling for this book as well. I especially enjoyed the character development with struggles and changes.

Burke did a spectacular job with the women! They are unique, strong and powerful. They have a duty but still strive to grow stronger as both a person and a super!

Super excited for the next book!

Superheroes in a Post-apocalyptical Cyberpunk

Hero is an experienced survivor from the slums, who uses his street smarts to navigate politics in the Corpo world that controls and manipulates the Hero academies. He is mostly pragmatic and careful with his decisions and actually picks partners that earn his trust. Looking forward to the sequel.

Amazing new series…. Only made better by exceptional dual narration.

I thoroughly enjoyed Burke’s new book and have read it more than once already. His creative take on an apocalyptic earth where humans struggle with the shadow, aided by the powers of the light which create supers was enhanced by Jonathan and Maeve’s excellent dual narration of a complex series of characters. I very much look forward to additional books and narrations in this series!

Really good. Finished the book in a weekend. When the next one comes out I will preorder.
