Did Not Finish

Made it almost half way but the MC completely killed it for me. I’m not saying every MC should be alpha or OP (I don’t even know if this MC is strong due to not finishing) but being a complete cry baby is to much.

Kinda ok kinda Garbo

People say this is great, they must be children. It’s ok at best, might read the next one but doubt it. The MC is an absolute pussy. like the king of BETA males. its just gross. i hope the author learns from this book and makes the next one not such a failure. unless he knows his target audience and that audience are a bunch of idiot kids who think this is actual quality.

it was disappointing

the main character is a big baby and always gets side tracked, and the mans voice was really annoying combined with how much of a cry baby the main character is you kinda just want to turn it off to stop listening to him

Spineless/walking dildo

This is the same as all the other just retitled. The spinless MC should have left both of the women or better yet slit their throats but no he jut lays nack pretending to be asleep.

I have tried to listen to a lot of dumb ass stories on audible the last 2 years but I have never listen to such a stupid ass stories by such a lazy writer

This is bad, really really bad.

The protagonist is just pathetic. Weak and cowardly. Without plot armor he would be dead. The story just drags. It is a complete waste of time.

Can’t stand a weak main character this main character was passed weak had no confidence just pathetic trying to return it couldn’t make it passed 3 chapter

epic rollercoaster ride

the MC gets isekai'd in a way I haven't heard yet and the way he starts his awesome adventure isn't an overpowered romp but a gradual and believable sequence of events. loved it from start to finish

Amazing book

This is a great start to the series. I got into it from the start. Plenty of action and spice. Charlie did an Amazing job narrating, Summers range of voices is perfect. Great job on this book all.

Keep Listening

The very beginning of the book was a little rough. The voice of the other prisoner was a little too quiet, but after turns of events the book picked up fantastically and could not put it down. Was greatly paced and always felt the story flowed and was enjoyable.

great setting and story

a great start to the series, setting out the world and it's situation. the groundwork has been laid! Adult scenes are really well done, hoping to see an expansion on the fight against the soldarity in the next book!

Intense and suspensful

I have received this free copy for an honest review. This is an awesome story, thata is very involving, very intense and keeps you at the edge of your seat. An underdog reaching for power, a normal person on a impossible situation, a grand adventure and a rise of resistance! The narration is great, easy to understand and very clear!

Great first book!

At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review.

Genre: Fantasy Isekai with harem like relationship open to outside women.

Power dynamics in harem: MC is only man with a brain in the world. Girls wants him. MC respects his women and take his time and follows the speed they are each comfortable with.
Explicit/adult material: Explicit. Hot. Kitsune, Orc, bunny girl. Starts slow in this aspect, but catches up.

Summary:
When cave climbing with his friends Adam has an accident and falls deep into the dark. He wakes up in a cell in a different world. Captured by stupid ogres and monsterly women. In the next cell is a woman with a beautiful voice.
And together they plan to escape before their captor can brainwash and kill them.

Narrators
Voice diversity: The voice diversity is limited, but I was never in doubt about who said what, so it was not something I thought about until now during my review.
Pacing and intonation: Excellent. The use of inflection, pacing and intonation makes for a immersive and gripping storytelling.
Sex scenes: Works really well.
The narrators were new to me, but they sound seasoned. Great narration!
Overall: 4.5 / 5 stars.

The book’s strengths.
- All the girls are distinct in personality, skill sets and visually. The book does a great job of building up separate relationships with the girls.
- The world building works well introducing different factions and their interest naturally throughout the story.
- MC is neither a chad or a pathetic loser. Just a normal guy in a strange circumstance.
- Great narration

The book’s weaknesses.
- For some the fact that one of the girls has sex with women outside of the harem (at least for now) can be a weakness. It did not bother me at all.


Overall: 4.5/5 stars
A strong first book in a series, let alone from an author. I look forward to see where the series goes from here!
