Don’t appreciate the bias in the modern presidents

Too much bias. Just wanted the history. Disappointing. Obama was great. Bush was bad. Selective memory.

Covers the material

The book hit the high points of the presidency at about a seventh grade level. It got the job done, if nothing more. But the performance was painful. Numerous mispronounced words..such as banks being concerned about rates of "intent" rather than "interest"...were distracting and embarrassing. At least once, the narrator made an error, paused, and started the sentence over. The entire book was read in a monotone. I was sad.

A terrific starting point for understanding the roles and major achievements, as well as some of the failures and frailties of America’s presidents.

Brief summary of each president

Very brief summary. Not bad but moves quickly through each president. I would prefer a to double the length in order to get into a bit more detail.

I’m doing this for trivia

This book is exactly what I needed. It’s what it says it is, no more and no less. Short, concise, and great for somebody aiming to sharpen their trivia game by knowing a thing or two about the presidents.

very liberal oriented.

you have to be so careful what you read/hear these days. the author chose his words very carefully when describing the presidents he liked. the more conservative presidents, he wasn't so careful.

Pretty informative audiobook

I enjoyed this informative and intense listen about the history of the presidency of the united states throughout history up to today, I learned a lot from this masterpiece and I was amazed by the amount of information about the US presidents that i never heard before, well done

Educational and fascinating!

I loved listening to this book. I love history, and I love the US. I knew some basic information about some presidents, but this book revealed everything about them, and I love that. It showed some secrets that were unfamiliar to me and mind-blowing. Thanks

Loved it!

I like to say I'm a history buff, but I don't actually have the time to delve into the history books. Listening to this audiobook was the perfect way for me to get the low down on each president. I truly loved the recap of each president and it helped me to jog my memory for all of the history that I did know. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to sharpen their history skills or anyone wanting to learn about the US Presidents for the first time!

Terrible narration and editing

The terrible narration and editing of this book makes one wish that one of the presidents had a greater focus on education and literacy. The narrator reads as though it’s a skill he’s still mastering. An example is using the word expectation instead of exception in a sentence and referring repeatedly to the Vietmanese conflict. I hoped I’d misheard this but alas no! If you’re going to narrate a book read it first as it may help your intonation and learn how to pronounce foreign names. Take a pride in your job I urge you.Many sentences are also repeated twice dear editor. shame on you for this shoddy piece of work about your leaders which will be widely read by foreign students and reflect upon you. The information in the book was interesting and balanced.

Has everything I've been looking for!

I've been searching for a good book on The Presidents Of The United States for awhile now. I've always wanted to know more about each president as an individual, rather than just the ones society deems the most important. This audiobook goes into a tremendous amount of detail and in my opinion, truly make us feel as if we know each and every President Of The United States on a personal level. It's very well organized and I enjoyed the narration very much. This is something I can definitely see me listening to in the car or at home doing some work around the house and several times at that! Plus I can't wait for my kids to get a little older and have them listen to it as well! Being American I think it is important to know these things and am honestly ashamed it took me so long to make it happen for myself. Thanks to the author though, now I do know and I am grateful. Cheers!

To the point!

If you’re looking for a brief overview of all US presidents with some really basic information this book is definitely for you. Good resource for kids, to learn some uncomplicated information presented in logical order. It will definitely help you gain a good overview of the basic historical points and align them with the presidents associated with these events.

Interesting listen

I’m a British who has passion for history. I really enjoyed listening to the history of the 45 US presidents. I learnt alot of facts about presidents that I didn’t know much about, and there were presidents that I didn’t even know who existed!

If you are studying US history or you are interested in all the different US presidents then this book is for you. The author has put together most important and relevant information about each of the presidents starting from the very first President up to and including Donald Trump.
